I was driving on Highway 98 at 76 miles an hour. A light came on the dash said engine is low on power. Then immediately the car said to get to the side of the road the engine had shut off. This was in the middle of a drive on the interstate. I almost got hit by a truck. With family in the car. I made an appointment at our local dealer for all the recalls and they canceled it last Friday due to their service force being sick. This almost got me and my son killed.

On [XXX] I was driving in Connecticut when I realized we had taken the wrong directions. We were following my son’s girlfriend’s iphone which kept changing the directions. When we ended up with an over pass in a parking area I applied my brakes but the brakes didn’t work. I was trying to go left to take an alternate road but couldn’t stop. This kind of thing where the brakes or steering have been happening on and off since we got the truck I believe someone has hacked into it using a car kit is what I found under devices but then it disappeared. It also changes my truck into towing mode which is another thing it does. This is done everyday. I noticed I have no history on my truck. This is because it can be put on and taken off randomly. I believe it is a family members doing this to me. We had a Nissan and they did it to that too. It totaled our new camper. I will have to get USAA TO SEND ME SOME COPIES OF PAPERWORK SINCE SOMEONE KEEPS BREAKING INTO OUR APARTMENT AND STEALING THINGS INCLUDING PAPERWORK. My vehicle since purchase has had squeaking brakes and the vehicle only has 4500 miles. At the dealership( Wesley Chapel Toyota) today I was told this was a known issue and that its a material issue that is still being addressed by Toyota , yet when I call Toyota directly they have no understanding that any recall is in place and opened a case ( [XXX] ) but also suggested let the NHTSA know. Breaks are critical and don't understand why this is not being addressed in a more expedient manner ; why wait until someone is seriously hurt.
