2000 TOYOTA TUNDRA BRAKE VIBRATION PROBLEM - BRAKES CAN CAUSE VIOLENT VIBRATION OF FRONT AND REAR OF VEHICLE WHICH CAN CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL ON WET SURFACES DUE TO BOUNCING OF VEHICLE. I AM SURPRISE THE NHTSA HAS NOT REQUESTED RECALL DUE TO THE VOLUME OF COMPLAINTS PLACED WITH THE ADMINISTRATION. TOYOTA SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

I HAVE NOT HAD AN INCIDENT YET, HOWEVER I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE POTENTIAL FOR INJURY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. THERE IS NO REAR HEAD RESTRAINT FOR PASSANGERS IN THE REAR SEAT. DURING ACCELERATION I HAVE NOTICED SEVERAL PEOPLES HEAD HITTING THE REAR GLASS (ESPECIALLY CHILDREN). I AM CONCERNED ABOUT SOMEONES HEAD GOING THROUGH THE GLASS, ESPECIALLY IF I WERE REAR-ENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. THERE IS NOTHING IN PLACE TO PREVENT THE HEAD OF A REAR SEAT PASSENGER FROM GOING THROUGH THE GLASS IN THE REAR WINDOW. I BELIEVE THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT WITH THE VEHICLE DESIGN.*AK
