So we have been suffering and my inlaws as well! They are finally fixing some of them, saying it by vin number. From what I can see the are fixing the ones that they are paying for a rentals on first. This is unacceptable. We learned that our 2025 Toyota Sienna was recalled as of October 2025. We dropped off our Sienna at One Toyota of Oakland on 10/31/25. We have not heard anything back from them about when the seats will be repaired. We have had a Rav4 in the interim, but the ergonomics of this car are painful for one of the car's users. We purchased the Sienna because of the ergonomics when using the vehicle with our baby. The Rav4 replacement vehicle does not meet the needs for which we purchased the Sienna, yet have had to have a Rav4 since 10/31/2025. We placed a lemon law claim within Toyota internal lemon law department 60 days ago and we were denied on 3/26/26, with the department starting that a remedy will be provided. No other info was provided, nor was a date provided for the repair. It is still unclear when we will get our van back. Other than denying our lemon law claim, Toyota has been completely noncommutative.

RE: NHTSA Recall Number 25V668 Defective Unsafe 2025 Toyota Sienna 2nd row seat rails. I purchased a brand new 2025 TOYOTA Sienna Hybrid on May 20th, 2025 as a family vehicle to transport my grandchildren in their car safety seats. In July, Toyota discovered that the 2nd row seat rails were defective and posed a serious safety risk. Dealers were sent a DO NOT SELL notice on October 7th for the unsafe Siennas. I was not notified until December 12th that no one should occupy the 2nd row seats while the vehicle was in motion due to a serious safety risk, so my grandchildren were strapped into unsafe seats without our knowledge all that time. Since then, the vehicle has been unusable for its intended purpose due to this significant safety risk. I have been waiting for months for the vehicle to be fixed without any update of any kind from Toyota on when this will happen. I have called the Toyota Brand Engagement Center several times and they have had zero information to provide beyond that listed in the Interim Notice. This is completely Unacceptable. Toyota has continued to produce new 2025 Siennas and 2026 Siennas with corrected seat rails since July 25th 2025 without supplying any replacement seat rails to remedy the recall and end the hardship it has caused for the families affected. This needs to be addressed and Toyota needs to be compelled to put their pursuit of profit on hold and fix these vehicles NOW.
