I WAS IN ACCIDENT AT A SPEED OF 25 TO 30 MPH AND THE COLLISION WAS IN THE SIDE OF THE VECHILE AND THE RIGHT FRONT FENDER. THE COLLSION CAUSED THE WIRING FOR THE AIR BAG TO BE CUT. THE WIRING FOR THE AIR BAG SHOULD BE SUBSTANTAILLY MORE PROTECTED !!!

THE FIRST TIME I EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM THE CAR I HAD OWNED THE CAR FOR 12 MONTHS. THE DEALER REPLACED THE REAR CENTER SEAT BELT ANCHOR. I ASSUMED THAT I HAD A RECIEVED A RARE DEFECTIVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR. I FELT COMPELLED TO REPORT THIS SECOND FAILURE SINCE I HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT TOYOTA WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEFECTIVE ANCHOR, AND THIS MAYBE MORE WIDE SPREAD. I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FORM YOU.
FIVE (REGATTA) TIRES WERE DEFECTIVE. 1- RUBBER CHUNKS COMING OUT/2,3,4 TIRE SEPARATION, AND 5- INNER SIDE OPENING. MANUFACTURER CONTACTED AND IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEMS BUT STATED THESE TIRES WERE NOT IN THE SERIES OF PROBLEMS. *AK(GOODYEAR REGATTA DOT #: DOTM6RW3PHR385 TIRE SIZE: 195-70-R14). SB

NUMBER ONE PISTON ROD EITHER CAME LOOSE OR BROKE, CAUSING APPROXIMATELY A 3 INCH HOLE IN THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE BLOCK.
WHILE DRIVING 5-10 MPH AND A JUST GRAZING THE CURB, THE THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG DEPLOYED. *AK *ML
WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH ANOTHER VEHICLE RAN A RED LIGHT AND THE CONSUMER BROADSIDED THE OTHER CONSUMER'S VEHICLE, AND THE AIR BAG ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE DID NOT DEPLOY. AK
