DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RETRACT. *AK
MOTOR FAILS TO OPERATE THE DRIVER'S SHOULDER BELT. THE WIRING UNDER THE SEAT HAD A SHORT.
TOOK CAR TO DEALER. DIAGNOSED BROKEN TRACK FOR MOTORIZED SHOULDER HARNESS. COST TO ME $247. ISN'T THIS SAFETY EQUIPMENT THAT MUST BE REPLACED BY MANUFACTURER?AK
THE AUTOMATIC SHOULDER BELTS FAILED TO WORK PROPERLY. WOULD NOT SLIDE UP OR DOWN WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED OR CLOSED. HAS NOT TAKEN TO DEALER. *AK
SHOULDER BELT TIGHTENED IN A PANIC STOP AND DID NOT HOLD. THE BELT MADE A GRINDING NOISE, AND THEN RELEASED INSTEAD OF TIGHTENING. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE WHAT HAPPENED, BUT THEY WILL REPLACE THE BELT AND PAY FOR COST OF BELT, OWNER WILL PAY FOR LABOR. *AK *ML
THE SHOULDER BELT FITS RIGHT ACROSS THE OWNER'S NECK. DEALER SUGGESTS LOCKING CLIPS. *AK
AUTOMATIC SHOULDER BELT FAILS TO ACIVATE APPROX. 50% OF THE TIME. AT TIMES IT WILL ACTIVATE AFTER THE DRIVER SITS DOWN AND BEFORE IT IS SLIPPED OVER THE HEAD WITH SOME FORCE AND HAS SRIPPED GLASSES OF DRIVER'S FACE.
MOTORBELT DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY.

Consequence & remedy
Consequence: IF THE FAILURE OCCURS, IT COULD RESULT IN A PASSENGERCOMPARTMENT FIRE.
Remedy: REPAIR THE RADIO.
