Subject: URGENT SAFETY ESCALATION – Unintended Highway Braking + Ongoing Defects – 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten – VIN [XXX] – Previous $10,000 Settlement Dear Ram / Stellantis Customer Care and Escalation Team, I am writing to escalate a critical safety defect and continuing problems with my 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten. Vehicle details: VIN: [XXX] Current mileage: 17,500 Purchased: XXX Dealership: Billion – [XXX] Owner: [XXX] In May Stellantis provided a $10,000 cash settlement related to multiple electrical and other faults. Despite that settlement, the vehicle has continued to experience significant and escalating problems. NEW SERIOUS Critical safety issue – Unintended Automatic Braking: While using Hands-Free Active Driving Assist (or related ADAS systems) at 80 mph on the freeway with a clear lane ahead, the truck has slammed on the brakes without cause. This occurred once last year and has now happened two additional times. The most recent incident (Monday) nearly resulted in a serious accident when a vehicle behind me was forced to swerve to avoid a rear-end collision. My natural reaction was also to brake, which compounded the danger. This is a clear and dangerous safety defect involving the Automatic Emergency Braking / ADAS systems. I am currently forced to continue operating the vehicle with these known faults for approximately two more weeks before Billion in [XXX] can schedule service. Additional ongoing defects and repair history: The latest issue involves the engine revs surging up and down at idle, with the engine nearly stalling before recovering. Since new (XXX), this vehicle has already been in the workshop/garage 8 times and I have been provided with 8 rental vehicles. This will now become the 9th workshop visit and 9th rental once the dealership can take it in approximately two weeks. These continued defects — especially the unintended hard braking at highway speed — substantially impair the safe INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

We have previously took in our RAM several times this year for issues related to recall B4C/NHTSA 25V-826. The CLUSTER keeps going blank and 12 inch screen freezes and goes blank, and does not work at different times, especially car play.

2025 Ram 1500, VIN [XXX]. Instrument cluster recall/software update performed in February 2026 after the cluster previously went blank. Since completion of the recall remedy, the digital instrument cluster has gone completely out two additional times. Both occurrences are documented by video and reported to the authorized dealer. Dealer has acknowledged the recurring problem and states they are awaiting direction from Stellantis engineering for a fix. Additionally, the vehicle has experienced two documented failures of the rear backup camera. The vehicle also currently has two unrelated safety recalls awaiting parts. I am concerned that the instrument-cluster recall remedy has not corrected the safety defect and that the recurring cluster and camera failures represent ongoing safety issues. My 2025 Ram 1500 has experienced seven separate incidents in which the steering suddenly became extremely difficult or impossible to turn. The most recent incident occurred on August 20, 2026. During these events, I temporarily lose the ability to steer the vehicle normally, creating an immediate risk of a crash. A vehicle diagnostic scan recorded repeated U0131 faults for lost communication with the Power Steering Control Module in multiple control modules. The Electric Power Steering module also recorded communication faults involving the PCM, transmission, ABS, and body control module. The scan additionally showed an active B2204 ECU configuration mismatch. This steering failure has occurred seven times and has not been permanently corrected. There is no warning. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this repeated loss of steering control in the 2025 Ram 1500.

On June 29, 2025, the CEL started blinking and the truck started shuttering. I was able to pull over to the side of the road where I discovered the truck would idle but not move without stalling. I then had the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership. Upon receiving the vehicle, the dealership diagnosed a short in the wiring harness. Once the wiring harness replaced, it was discovered that the wiring harness short took out the ISCM which was then replaced, for a second time.
