THANK GOD WE DIDN'T DISCOVER THIS FLAW DURING AN ACCIDENT! THE MIDDLE SEAT IN THE MIDDLE ROW HAS A JAMMED SEAT BELT THAT WON'T SPOOL OUT. THE RIGHT SEAT IN THE MIDDLE ROW HAS A SEATBELT WHERE THE FEMALE PORTION OF THE BUCKLE LITERALLY FELL APART. I HAD DIFFICULTY GETTING MY 6 YR. OLD CHILD OUT OF THE SEATBELT BECAUSE IT STUCK. THE DEALER TELLS ME THESE ITEMS ONLY HAVE A 36 MONTH OR 36000 MILE WARRANTLY. SHOULDN'T SAFETY ITEMS LIKE THESE HAVE MORE STRINGENT WARRANTIES, WHICH WOULD ENCOURAGE THE MANUFACTURER TO MAKE A MORE RELIABLE PRODUCT?*AK
REAR DRIVER'S SEAT AND MIDDLE SEAT SEAT BELTS WILL NOT RETRACT FROM THE RETRACTORS, LEAVING BOTH OCCUPANTS WITHOUT ANY RETRAINTS. DEALER NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT VEHICLE OUT OF WARRANTY. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
DRIVER'S SEATBELT SYSTEM DOES NOT RETRACT BACK WHEN BUCKLING WHICH WONT PROTECT THE OCCUPANT IN EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. DEALER WILL REPLACE SEATBELT AT HALF PRICE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
POWER SLIDING DOOR AND CENTER SEAT BELT MALFUNCTION. THERE IS ALSO A THUMPING SOUND IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AFTER BRAKE HAS BEEN APPLIED.
MIDDLE REAR LAP BELT LOCKS UP AND COULD NOT BE USED. DEALER REPLACED THE LAP BELT AFTER TAKING THE VEHICLE IN FIVE TIMES. ALSO THE DOOR HANDLES HAVE BROKEN AND FALLEN OFF THE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S DOORS. OCCUPANTS CAN EXIT THE VEHICLE BUT NOT ENTER. PLEASE ADD ANY OTHER DETAILS. *AK

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM AUGUST 1991 THROUGH JULY 1995. THE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER LINE CAN SEPARATE WHEN THE VEHICLE IS OPERATED IN LOW TEMPERATURES IN COMBINATION WITH HIGH TRANSMISSION LOADS.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: VEHICLE FIRES CAN OCCUR DUE TO THE SPILLAGE OF TRANSMISSION FLUID.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER LINES.

THESE VEHICLES WERE ASSEMBLED WITH THROTTLE CABLE SUPPORT BRACKETS THAT COULD CONTACT THE THROTTLE LEVER SYSTEM AND INHIBIT THE THROTTLE RETURN. THIS DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 124, "ACCELERATOR CONTROL SYSTEMS."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: THE THROTTLE MAY FAITL TO RETURN QUICKLY CAUSING THE ENGINE SPEED TO NOT DECREASE TO A LEVEL ANTICIPATED BY THE DRIVER.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE THROTTLE CABLE SUPPORT BRACKET.

IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED BRAKE PEDAL ARM CAUSES THE BRAKE PEDAL ARM TO FRACTURE DURING BRAKING.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: THIS CONDITION CAN RESULT IN A LOSS OF BRAKE OPERATION INCREASING BRAKING DISTANCE AND THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE ALL SUSPECT BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLIES.
