TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1998 PACE ARROW VISION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRAILER LOST 12-BOLTS OF POWER DUE TO THE CIRCUIT BOARD. THE BOARD WAS HELD TOGETHER BY DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE AND IS BECOMING LOOSE AND SHORTENING. FLEETWOOD TRAILERS STATED THAT THEY WOULD CHECK ON THE SITUATION, BUT WEEKS HAVE SINCE PASSED. THE VIN WAS C…

THE BOARD WAS HELD TOGETHER BY DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE AND IS BECOMING LOOSE AND SHORTENING. FLEETWOOD TRAILERS STATED THAT THEY WOULD CHECK ON THE SITUATION, BUT WEEKS HAVE SINCE PASSED. THE VIN WAS CONFIRMED WITH THE CONTACT. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 40,473 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CLASS A MOTOR HOMES. THE INTERMEDIATE DRIVE SHAFT INSTALLED ON THESE MOTOR HOMES CAN FALL TO THE GROUND.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: THIS CONDITION CREATES A POTENTIAL LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND/OR A ROAD OBSTRUCTION.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE INTERMEDIATE DRIVE SHAFT WITH ONE OF A NEWER DESIGN.
