WHILE TRYING TO STOP VEHICLE BRAKE PEDAL DOESN'T LOSE PRESSURE. BUT WHEN APPLYING BRAKES, VEHICLE JUST KEEPS ROLLING AND HAS TO COAST TO A STOP. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED, AND HAS BEEN UNABLE TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM. *AK *ML
WITHOUT WARNING THE BRAKES FAILED, THE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN AND I BARELY AVOIDED A REAR-ENDER
THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRING SYSTEM FAILED, WHICH CAUSED THE INSTRUMENT PANEL NOT TO ILLUMINATE. CAUSE UNKNOWN. WILL BE TAKING TO THE DEALER. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK

INTEMITTENTLY WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED THE PEDAL BECOMES HARD, CAUSING THE VEHICLE SURGE. THE DEALER IS INSPECTING THE VEHICLE. *AK
COMPUTER SYSTEM FAILED RESULTING IN VEHICLE COLLISION DUE TO LOSS OF POWER TO THE BRAKE SYSTEM.
SINCE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED HAD BEEN IN & OUT DEALER FOR ABS BRAKES. THEY FAIL TO STOP VEHICLE PROPERLY. MAKE A LOT OF NOISE WHEN APPLIED. BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR. ALSO PREMATURE WEAR OF LEFT FRONT BRAKE PADS. *AK
ANTI LOCK BRAKES ENGAGE PREVENTING REGULAR BRAKING.

THESE VEHICLES WERE SHIPPED WITH THE WRONG OWNER'S MANUAL, AND, THEREFORE, THE CORRECT INFORMATION REGARDING SAFETY BELT USAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE TO THE OWNER. THIS DOES NOT CONFORM WITH FMVSS NO. 209, "SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: UNBELTED OCCUPANTS OR OCCUPANTS USING SAFETY BELTS INCORRECTLY ARE MORE AT RISK OF INJURY THAN THOSE USING THE SAFETY BELT IN THE CORRECT MANNER IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR ACCIDENT.
Remedy: OWNERS AND OLDSMOBILE DEALERS ARE BEING MAILED THE CORRECT 1994 OLDSMOBILE BRAVURA OWNER'S MANUAL AND WILL BE ASKED TO INSTALL IT IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPARTMENT AND REMOVE AND DISCARD THE INCORRECT OWNER'S MANUAL.
