I am constantly getting a malfunction for P0101 despite changing my air flow system. It creates acceleration problems everytime.

It’s gotten to the point where I’d be taking a left turn and I’d press the gas and my car would move a few inches. It’s become very dangerous. Even after changing the air flow sensor my car continues to have problems with acceleration, stalling and hesitating.

On the interstate from [XXX] to [XXX] the Nissan Versa's License Plate reflected light so bright that it blinded my ride and we had to slow down and wait for them to get farther away from us. This is not random, they have a spray fixative on their license plate designed to block cameras from clocking their license plate or their numbers being recorded. This was easy to see whenever a light is shined onto it, you can see the thin film of camera block spray that is extremely reflective. I have had this happen numerous times in my car for absolutely no reason. I also just got my cars state inspection and nothing was noted, while other things unrelated to this issue were recommended by the mechanic. The car will start to stall in reverse AND in regular driving mode. Most recently it will come up with see manufacturers manual, and my engine light, traction control and crash sensors will appear on my dash board. Shutting the car on and off doesn't change the issue. Also this will happen sporadically sometime with check lights on and sometimes it's random and resolves itself. This is extremely dangerous when you're trying to drive and your car won't get "unstuck" and then randomly goes full speed. I drive 5,000 miles a year so I'm not using the car that hard.
The transmission slips constantly. Car loses power. When they check the car they say nothing is wrong. CVT transmission
All the dash lights come on car acceleration will either speed up or slow down on its own the transmission slips shakes and stalls at red lights

I am writing to formally report ongoing and unresolved issues with my vehicle that have significantly impacted its safety and reliability. The persistent problems include: Multiple simultaneous dashboard warning indicator illuminations Recurring "See Owner's Manual" malfunction notifications Intermittent Key System Error messages Continuous presence of diagnostic Code P0101 A representative from the dealership management informed me that Code P0101 is a known and widespread issue affecting multiple Nissan models, including the Versa, Sentra, and Altima. Despite this acknowledgment, I have been repeatedly told that these concerns are "under engineering review," yet no progress has been made, nor have I received any meaningful updates regarding the investigation. This lack of resolution raises serious safety concerns, and I urge the NHTSA to investigate this matter further. I appreciate your attention to this issue and any guidance you can provide on the next steps to ensure the safety and functionality of my vehicle. Sincerely,

I am writing to report a potential safety and design defect in my vehicle that I have also noticed affecting many other owners of the same make and model. The issue involves the rubber seal at the edge of the windshield, which is supposed to prevent water from entering the engine bay. However, the rubber is not properly secured—it merely sits in place—allowing water to pass underneath it. As a result, water accumulates on the valve cover near the ignition coil, creating a risk of electrical problems, including misfires or potential engine failure. Over time, this could lead to serious mechanical and safety issues. After researching, I have found that many other owners of the same vehicle have experienced this same problem. I believe this issue poses a safety concern and should be investigated further. Please advise on any next steps or potential recalls regarding this matter. Thank you for your time and attention.

I’ve read other other complaints about this make/ model car and my car does ALL of those things. First the acceleration at Rand times my car will not accelerate whether it be pulling out of a parking space, sitting at a red light, making a turn etc. have took to a mechanic because this issue and my check engine light was on due to the mass air flow sensor or filter got that fixed and car still does the same thing. Second when playing music through Bluetooth the radio just randomly restarts after playing approx 3 songs. Next the forward and back collision , abs system lights make an appearance on the dash whenever they feel like it. The emergency breaking system forward and back breaks for me when nothing is behind my car or I’m a great deal behind another car. The car now cuts off while driving. My passenger side door does not lock when pressed on the key fob with all of the other doors. The remote start does not work AT ALL. The trunk does not open when pressed on the key fob either. The lighter port does not have any power. I did buy this car used for being 5 years old and having 71,000 miles I thought that I was getting a somewhat decent deal but that is not the case, I do not feel safe in this car nor do I get to enjoy any of the features of “having a newer car”.
My car while driving accelerates on its own and while driving it brakes on its own making it dangerous when driving because when you go to make a turn the car just brakes while you're trying to accelerate
