I AM WORRIED THAT THE GAS SMELL IN THE GARAGE MADE SOME FUMES INTO MY HOUSE AND THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I SEE SOME MODELS OF MERCEDES HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS REASON. I WOULD LIKE MERCEDES TO RECALL AND REPAIR THIS AT NO CHARGE TO ME. APPARENTLY MERCEDES COVERS MODEL YEAR 2003 TO 2009 ON THE E CLASS IN 2006 TO 2011 ON THE CLS CLASS. I AM HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. *BF *TR *TR

THIS IS AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH NO MECHANICAL ISSUES. I AM GUESSING IT IS A SOFTWARE ISSUE. VERY DANGEROUS IN TRAFFIC OR HIGH SPEED HIGHWAY BECAUSE THE VEHICLE STALLS UNINTENTIONALLY. A RESTART OF VEHICLE FIXES THE ISSUE.
