I own a 2024 Lincoln Nautilis on August 28 2026. I started the vehicle in the rear windshield glass suddenly shattered/exploded there had been no collision accident vandalism or known impact to the vehicle that I am aware of the vehicle was not involved in an accident immediately before the glass failed. The glass failure occurred unexpectedly. When I started the vehicle. I contacted my local Lincoln dealership and reported what happened. The dealership told me that they had heard of this issue and directed me to contact Lincoln‘s 800 number customer service I contacted that number, but I have not been able to obtain a satisfactory response or determination as to whether this could be a #Warranty or safety defect I have filed an insurance claim because the vehicle needs to be repaired, but I am concerned that the insurance claim is being treated as the reason Lincoln will not investigate whether the glass failure itself may have been a defect. I am reporting this to NHTSA because I am concerned that the rear window on relatively new 2024 vehicle could spontaneously shatter without an apparent impact. I would like an NHTSA to document this incident as and determine whether there were similar complaints involving a 2024 Lincoln nautilus and whether this may represent a safety related defect I can provide photographs, repair information, insurance information dealership information, and any other documentation requested
