2019 Lamborghini Urus

The contact owns a 2019 Lamborghini Urus. The contact stated that there was a strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the garage. The contact stated that days later, the tire was flat, and while being loaded on a flatbed tow truck, the contact became aware of gasoline leaking from the fuel tank on the rear passenger's side of the vehicle. The contact then became aware of a second fuel leak on the front passenger's side of the vehicle. The contact’s infant son was occupying the rear passenger's side seat, near the fuel tank and the exhaust system insulation. The contact stated that the fuel leak had stopped after the vehicle was on flat ground; however, upon parking the vehicle in the garage, there was an abnormally strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle again. The vehicle was pushed from the garage to the driveway out of a safety concern. The contact stated that upon pushing the accessory button of the vehicle, the vehicle started leaking fuel even though the vehicle was not started. The dealer was notified of the failure; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and advised the contact to call back at a later time. The failure mileage was approximately 39,800.
