REAR BRAKE LEVER ON MOTORCYCLE FAILED TO RETURN AFTER APPLICATION WHILE MAKING A TURN (NO STOP REQUIRED AT THIS TURN). TOOK SOME TIME IN HEAVY TRAFFIC TO FIGURE OUT CAUSE OF SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED POWER, BUT WAS ABLE TO FINALLY PRY THE LEVER BACK UP WITH MY FOOT. MUCH GRINDING/CRUNCHING FELT AS THE LEVER CRUSHED DEBRIS TRAPPED IN THE LINKAGE. THIS BIKE WAS PREVIOUSLY RECALLED FOR THIS ISSUE. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED. I WAS ALMOST STALLED IN TRAFFIC. IF I HAD BEEN CAUGHT ON THE RED LIGHT, THE BIKE COULD HAVE TIPPED WHEN TRYING TO TAKE OFF OR I COULD HAVE BEEN STUCK STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. JUDGING FROM THE SMELL AND HEAT DAMAGE, THIS COULD HAVE EVENTUALLY STARTED A FIRE IF I WAS UNABLE TO GET OUT OF TRAFFIC OR FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. BIKE DROPPED AT DEALERSHIP THE VERY NEXT DAY (DROPPED OFF TODAY) FOR BRAKE INSPECTION AND REPAIRS. *TR
