Also, the clock resets itself 4 hours ahead. The HVAC temperature resets itself to 72 degrees regardless of where it was when parked. -Component that has failed is the instrument panel cluster went completely blank. --This results in immediate loss of speedometer, information screen, & all warning lights. - This issue is the exact issue covered in recall #24V-652, however my VIN is not included. - There was no symptoms prior to the failure of the instrument panel. - Our 2022 Jeep wrangler unlimited is in the middle of the active recall years, with the same instrument cluster, and exact same issue as the above recall. I have since messaged with others with the exact same issue during these year models that were not listed in the recall and the repairs have cost in excess of $1300. It very much appears the recall should widen for more vehicles in this range.,

Shortly after a recall repair was completed, I experienced a sudden loss of motive power while driving approximately 45 mph on a public roadway. At the time of the incident, the vehicle had approximately half a tank of gasoline remaining. I observed the high-voltage battery gauge reach approximately 1% state of charge. Immediately after the battery gauge reached that level, the vehicle suddenly lost power and appeared to stall while in motion. I received no warning before the failure occurred. At the time of the event, a battery system failure warning appeared along with a plug icon on the dashboard. I was forced to pull off the roadway and bring the vehicle to a complete stop. The vehicle had to be placed in Park and restarted before it would operate again. Fortunately, there was a safe area available to pull over. Had this occurred in heavier traffic or where there was no safe shoulder, it could have created a serious safety hazard. I returned the vehicle to the dealership. The dealership retained the vehicle for approximately one week but advised they could not duplicate the failure and could not identify a cause. I was told to keep the vehicle charged. My concern is that the incident occurred immediately after the battery gauge reached approximately 1% state of charge. Based on the timing of the event, I am concerned there may be a problem related to the transition from electric/hybrid operation to gasoline engine operation when the high-voltage battery reaches a very low state of charge. I am not claiming this is the cause, only that the timing appears significant. To my knowledge, the vehicle was kept charged during dealership testing, and I do not know whether the battery was allowed to reach the same low state of charge that existed when the failure occurred. A sudden loss of motive power while driving creates a significant safety risk, and I have not received a clear explanation for the cause of the failure or assurance that it will not happen again.

The dealership failed to confirm parts availability, gave no clear answers, and ultimately hung up on me during our conversation. Despite the NHTSA website confirming that parts for recall 25V741000 are available, the dealership was unable to schedule an appointment and provided no solution. I am being forced to drive a vehicle with an active fire hazard while the dealership refuses to take responsibility or provide timely service. This is a serious safety concern and I am requesting immediate action. The dealership has shown complete disregard for customer safety and has failed to fulfill its obligation to complete open safety recalls in a timely manner. I own a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JKU with approximately 67,000 miles. The vehicle has experienced a failure involving the ABS control module and related braking/stability systems. Current symptoms include: * ABS warning light illuminated * Brake warning light illuminated * Traction control warning light illuminated * Intermittent speedometer malfunction * Brake pedal occasionally vibrates and becomes soft during operation * Vehicle hesitates for several seconds when accelerating from a stopped position while dashboard warning lights flash The vehicle has been diagnosed by two separate Jeep repair facilities as having a failed ABS control module. I have been informed that replacement ABS modules for this vehicle have been unavailable for approximately nine months and remain unavailable as of today. This appears to be a widespread issue affecting Jeep Wrangler JK vehicles, with many owners reportedly unable to obtain replacement safety-critical ABS modules through Mopar or dealership networks. Because the ABS and traction/stability systems are malfunctioning, the vehicle cannot pass inspection and is unsafe for my family of four, especially during rain or emergency braking situations. This issue affects federally mandated vehicle safety systems, including anti-lock braking and electronic stability control. Owners should not be left without access to replacement parts for critical safety equipment for extended periods of time.

I have had multiple issues and repairs completed including two recalls for the battery. Two repairs to the flapper in ac system and damper in front end replaced under 24000 miles. I have had two radios and amp replaced and now need another being it does the same as before and never works when I try to use usb and over heats my phone, which the dealership has been non compliant with warranty being they either state I can’t duplicate or do not produce full history reports. I have had three dealership make repairs in the last 2 years and it is now approaching 36000 and they are aware of the reoccurring issues. I have been instructed not to charge in or near a my home but that is why I bought the hybrid for the electric as well. They keep stating they have no loaners and I would be without my vehicle for over two days just for diagnostics. They have had the jeep in the shop and stated the radio had turned itself on when Jeep was not on. There are definitely many electrical issues connecting these things and it is just being pushed off by Stellantis. Now there looks to be a stress crack in front windshield I am taking to a windshield company as there are no visible rock chips just crack from bottom 1/4 way up and running.

Status: open (inferred from source dates) · Electrical System: Instrument Cluster/panel

The Office of Defects Investigations (ODI) is opening a Preliminary Evaluation on 2020 Model Year Jeep Gladiators and Wranglers involving a malfunctioning Instrument Panel Clusters (IPC) resulting in the loss of important vehicle metrics and other status information.  ODI has received 89 Vehicle Owner Questionnaires (VOQs) alleging a complete or partial loss of the IPC display while driving.  The subject vehicles' IPC display includes the speedometer, fuel gauge, engine temperature, turn signal indicators, warning light, and other gauges that are normally illuminated while the vehicle is in operation.  Loss of the fuel gauge while driving may lead to an inability to determine the fuel level and result in a loss of motive power, and the loss of other safety-related information may impede a driver’s ability to take action to prevent a safety risk.  Furthermore, an IPC that is suddenly not visible to the driver may divert the driver’s attention from the driving task, potentially causing a vehicle crash. ODI is opening this Preliminary Evaluation to evaluate the scope, severity and frequency of the alleged IPC malfunctions and to assess potential safety-related consequences. Status: open (inferred from source dates) · Electrical System; Engine

The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has identified 68 Vehicle Owner Questionnaire (VOQ) reports for model years (MY) 2021 through 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles alleging a loss of motive power. Recall 22V-865 was issued by the manufacturer to address an engine shutdown condition in certain MY 2021-2023 Wrangler 4xe vehicles. The complaints noted here contain both post recall remedy failures and failures in vehicles not included within the scope of 22V-865. An analysis comparing complaints received before the issuance of recall 22V-865 and complaints outside the scope of the recall has been conducted. The results show the current complaint rate is higher in the out of scope vehicles than it was for vehicles that were later covered by the recall. ODI is opening this Recall Query (RQ) to assess the severity of the alleged defect in vehicles not included in recall 22V-865.ODI will also assess the scope and remedy effectiveness of the recall. To review the ODI reports cited in the Opening Resume ODI Report Identification Number document, go to NHTSA.gov.

NHTSA received a petition on or about July 18, 2022, requesting that Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 141 be applied to all electric and hybrid vehicles operating in the United States. The petition can be reviewed at NHTSA.gov under ODI Number 11486072. FMVSS 141 establishes performance requirements for pedestrian alert sounds for motor vehicles. The standard applies to hybrid and electric vehicles that have a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,536 KG or less or are defined as low-speed vehicles. The standard became fully applicable to all such vehicles manufactured on or after March 1, 2021.On January 27, 2023, NHTSA opened Defect Petition (DP) 22-005 to evaluate the subject matter described in the petition. On June 24, 2023 and as supplemented on June 25, 2023, the petitioner notified NHTSA he was withdrawing his petition. The petitioner indicated that, based on his review of data, there is no justification for asserting potential benefits that could be derived from actions sought by my petition. Based on the petitioner's withdrawal, DP22-005 is closed. Closure of this DP does not represent a determination by NHTSA regarding the subject matter of the petition.

DP14004 · Totally Integrated Power Module Failure

In a letter dated August 21, 2014, the Center for Auto Safety (CAS) petitioned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to initiate a defect investigation of alleged failures associated with the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) installed in Chrysler SUV?s, trucks, and vans beginning in the 2007 model year. The petitioner alleges that TIPM defects may result in engine stall, airbag non-deployment, failure of fuel pump shutoff resulting in unintended acceleration, fire, and other symptoms. On September 25, 2014, the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened DP14-004 to evaluate the petition for a grant or deny decision. ODI analyzed complaint data provided by CAS as well as complaints submitted to ODI from consumers. In total, there were 296 complaints submitted by the petitioner in the original petition and five supplements, including 271 complaints related to the subject vehicles equipped with TIPM-7. Approximately 3 percent of CAS complaints are related to vehicles equipped with TIPM-6 and ODI?s review of these complaints did not identify any safety defect trends. ODI conducted a detailed review of complaints narratives submitted by CAS and consumers including careful analysis of vehicle repair histories, warranty claims obtained from the manufacturer and any available Customer Assistance Inquiry reports (CAIR). Analysis of the field data indicated that MY2011-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles exhibited significantly higher complaint rates related to fuel pump relay (FPR) failures than other subject vehicles. In a September 3, 2014 letter to NHTSA, Chrysler submitted a Defect Information Report (DIR) identifying a defect in the FPR within the TIPM-7 which can result in a no start or stall condition in approximately 188,723 model year (MY) 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK) and Dodge Durango (WD) vehicles manufactured from January 5, 2010 through July 20, 2011 (14V-530).In a February 24, 2015 letter, Chrysler submitted a second DIR expanding the scope of the FPR defect condition to include an additional 338,216 MY 2012 through 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured from September 17, 2010 through August 19, 2013 and MY 2012 through 2013 Dodge Durango vehicles manufactured from January 18, 2011 through August 19, 2013 (15V-115).ODI analysis of the CAS allegations of TIPM defects resulting in stall while driving, airbag non-deployment, unintended acceleration, fire and other faults identified a single defect condition related to 1 of over 60 different circuits in the TIPM assembly. The most common effect of this defect condition, related to the fuel pump relay, was a no-start concern, but it could also result in stall while driving (76 complaints). No valid evidence was presented in support of claims related to airbag non-deployment, unintended acceleration or fire resulting from TIPM faults and these claims were found to be wholly without merit based on review of the field data and design of the relevant systems and components.Except insofar as the petitioner's contentions relate to the defect condition addressed by the Chrysler recalls, the factual bases of the petitioner's contentions that any further investigation is necessary are unsupported. In our view, additional investigation is unlikely to result in a finding that a defect related to motor vehicle safety exists or a NHTSA order for the notification and remedy of a safety-related defect as alleged by the petitioner at the conclusion of the requested investigation. Therefore, in view of the need to allocate and prioritize NHTSA's limited resources to best accomplish the agency's safety mission, the petition is den
