Instrument cluster panel and all warning lights, fuel gage, speedometer, tire pressure, temperature sensor, etc. as well as all info on app unable to access. no warning lights which could cause crash without prior warning. controls and displays failed to illuminate and were not visible. unable to see in daylight or at night. Dealer verified internal failure in IPC, would not repair under recall, said was outside of warranty.

Catastrophic Loss of Motive Power and Power Steering at Road Speed Following Recall 68C Update. Description: On February 6, 2026, my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (Mileage: 24,947) suffered a catastrophic safety failure while in motion on a public roadway. This occurred about 25 hours after the vehicle was "cleared" by a dealership for Recall 68C (NHTSA Recall 25V-741). While driving at approximately 25/30 MPH in Electric Mode, the vehicle suddenly displayed a "Service Transmission" warning and a red high-voltage "Service Hybrid Electric Vehicle System" error. The vehicle immediately lost all motive power and entered a "Limp Mode" (Turtle icon) that restricted speed to under 5 MPH. Simultaneously, the vehicle lost power steering and displayed errors for "Service Shifter," "Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) Unavailable," and "Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Unavailable." I was forced to drift the unpowered vehicle across lanes of traffic into a shoulder without power steering where another vehicle almost hit me. The vehicle revved excessively but would not provide propulsion. After a hard restart, I was able to move the vehicle at 20 MPH to a safe location, where it was subsequently towed to the dealership. This failure occurred after the manufacturer assured me the vehicle was safe following the Recall 68C software update. This is a life-threatening defect that caused a total loss of control on a live roadway. I am requesting a formal investigation into the effectiveness of the 68C software remedy. Started vehicle in the morning and radio/infotainment system had a problem. The radio functions seemed to work but when I put the vehicle in reverse the backup camera screen went black. I tried putting the car back into park and then restarting the vehicle and putting it back into reverse, but it didn't work again. Drove about 25 miles to my place of work and parked in a parking spot. I then proceeded to put the vehicle in reverse again and this time noticed the camera started to work but it was working intermittently. The screen kept flashing on/off and also the image from the camera flashing in blue. During the initial startup and later when parking at no time were there any warning lights or anything to indicate a malfunction. I have had issues with the radio/infotainment system multiple times and have brought it into dealership for issues with it. They have stated that they can't replicate the issues and just check to make sure it has the most up to date software. In those instances, the software was up to date at the time of the issues.

Klamath Falls Dodge Dealership and Stellantis have failed to repair the defects cited in the A7C, 68C and 78C. My vehicle is subject to sudden stops and sudden fires. The vehicle has been at the dealership since 12/28/2025. I filed a claim online and with certified mail with Stellantis. No action has been taken to correct the defects and the vehicle can't be driven in a safe manner.

WITH NO FIX AVAILABLE

DRIVING DOWN ROAD, APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH THE JEEP ABRUPTLY STOPPED, NOTHING NO POWER TO ANY PART OF THE VEHICLE , LOSS OF DRIVE POWER. THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME FOR SURE I WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT IN THE REAR, I AM SO AFRAID TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE , AS THIS HAS HAPPENED ON TWO OCCASIONS LATE SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 14 2025. ALREADY. THE DEALER CONFIRMED IT AS I SENT A PICTURE OF THE DASH BOARD THAT WAS TAKEN THE SECOND INCIDENT , WITH ALL THE THINGS THAT LIT UP. NO NOT ONE TIME WAS THERE ANY WARNING, MESSAGES OR LIGHTS PRIOR TO INCIDENT. I CONTACTED DEAERSHIP TO MAKE APT WAS TOLD "DONT BRING IT IN" THERE IS NO REMEDY, "ICAN GIVE YOU THE 800 NUMBER FOR CHRYSLER/JEEP" EARLY NOVEMBER I GOT RECALL NOTICE FOR THE BATTERY THAT COULD "GO ON FIRE" OR "BLOW UP" - I CALLED AND THE DEALER GAVE ME AN APPOINTMENT FOR 1/20/26 - 3 MONTHS??? IASKED IF THEY CAN ALSO ADDRESS THE 2ND RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM THAT HAS OCCURRED 2 TIMES OUT OF NOWHERE WAS TOLD WE WILL GO OVER THIS WHEN YOU COME IN. I REQUESTED A LOANER CAR THATS WHY THEY MADE MY APT 3 MONTHS AWAY, THEY CLAIM DIDNT HAVE A LOANER UNTIL THEN. WENT ON 1/20/26 THE TECH CALLED ME TWICE ONCE TO TELL ME THERE IS NO REMEDY TO FIX AC7 PROBLEM AND THEY WILL SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT "BATTERY ISSUE RECALL, CALLED AGAIN ASKING RIDICULOUS QUESTIONS LIKE HOW ARE YOU CHARGING THE VEHICLE, ARE YOU USING AN AFTER MARKET CHARGER, AS IF YOU DIDNT LEASE ME THIS VEHICHLE WITH THE CHARGE... I FELT LIKE THEY WHERE TRYING TO SAY ANY ISSUE WAS MY FAULT. I SENT THE TECH A TEXT TO LET HIM KNOW THAT I REALLY AM NOT COMFORTABLE PICKING UP THE VEHICLE WITHOUT THE NO REMEDY FOR THE ISSUE AND CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY. HE SAID "YOU SHOULD BE ALRIGHT" "YOU SHOULD BE OK TO DRIVE", I TOLD HIM THAT I WASN'T REASSURED THAT I "SHOULD" BE OK??? i SAID I WANTED TO DISCUSS GETTING A LOANER OR REPLACEMENT VEHICLE, HE SAID THAT WAS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN & IF i DIDNT PICK THE VEHICLE I WOULD BE CHARGED $50/DAY FOR LOANER.

Vehicle Safety Incident & Recall Case Summary In approximately October 2025, while my son was driving the vehicle on Highway 85 at approximately 70 mph, the car suddenly shut off and lost power without warning. He was able to safely pull over to the side of the road and had to restart the vehicle in order to continue driving. At the time of this incident, the vehicle had only a few thousand miles. As a parent, I am deeply concerned about my son’s safety, particularly given that this power loss occurred at highway speeds without warning. Shortly after this incident, I personally experienced a separate failure while driving the vehicle, during which the car would not accelerate as expected. This created an additional and serious safety concern during normal driving conditions. We brought the vehicle to an authorized Jeep dealership for evaluation. The dealership informed us that this issue was associated with a known recall and advised that there was no available fix or remedy at that time. In addition to this recall, the vehicle is subject to two other active safety recalls, both of which also lack available repairs: A recall involving sand or debris in the engine, which may impact engine performance and long-term reliability. A recall involving the high-voltage battery, for which we have since received additional notices advising us not to charge the vehicle and not to park it inside or near structures due to a fire risk. There is currently no fix available for this defect. We selected this vehicle specifically as an electric vehicle, in part because it was intended to be charged and used safely at home and to avoid the ongoing cost of gasoline. The current instructions not to charge the vehicle and to avoid parking it inside or near structures eliminate the vehicle’s intended purpose and expected use. Vehicle experiences sudden unintended stopping and loss of propulsion. There are known safety recalls with no available remedy. Vehicle is unsafe and inoperable. Smoke/burning odor present. Children were in the vehicle during incidents. Manufacturer has not provided a fix. I was on my way to work towards the end of September with a SEMI behind me and it stopped out of the blue while driving! Thank God I acted fast and pushed start then stop to get it to go and out of the way, I was right infront of my job. Other times I have been alone and most recently during Christmas break my brother in law was in the car with me when it happened and he screamed and said to turn around, he’s a mechanic and he wanted to see what I was talking about. We didn’t even make it but out of the apartment complex when it happened.

Unknown exactly but started Jeep & backed out of parking spot & placed in drive and only got a few feet & vehicle slowed & stopped Placed in park & turned car off then waited a few seconds & turned back in and showed it was in run but not able to place into gear Turned off again & waited longer & was able ti get started & into gear then towed to dealership This also happened in October but I was driving on the road & lost power was able to pull to side & then return home & get to dealership a couple days later when open & was told it was power train related

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that when attempting to accelerate from being idle, or while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would suddenly jerk, accelerate at an unexpected speed, or fail to accelerate. There was a ticking noise coming from the front end of the vehicle that could be heard when standing outside the vehicle. The Check Engine light and the explanation warning light, as well as others not specified, would illuminate intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times; however, the dealer was not able to diagnose the failure. The dealer updated the vehicle's software but was unable to provide a remedy for the failures. The dealer informed the contact of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V741000 (Electrical System) and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to do the recall repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. While driving approximately 25 MPH, after accelerating from being idle at a stop light, the vehicle suddenly jerked and stopped. The contact pressed the accelerator pedal, and when doing so, the vehicle accelerated at a high speed, immediately causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle ended up crashing into a fire hydrant, causing it to stop. The air bags did not deploy. The contact received injuries to their shoulders, lower back, neck, and left knee. Medical attention was needed. A police report had been filed. The vehicle was towed from the incident. The contact stated that while the police were there, the officer noticed the engine revving as if the accelerator pedal was being pressed; however, the pedal was not pressed at the time. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue, and a case was opened. The contact had not heard from the failure. The contact had not experienced a failure mileage was unknown.
