I reviewed the video from the carwash and it was shattered prior to entering the wash I called corporate office they said they I have to take the vehicle into the shop so they can take pictures then submit to someone else for them to review them decide wether it is covered by Warranty? I still have Bumper to Bumper Warranty and I also added the extended Bumper to Bumper Warranty! This happened on 7/11/23 @ 9am on my way the get it serviced… they called me that I had to go pick up my vehicle because the parts for the reason being serviced are on back order until 1-2 maybe 3 wks. Knowing that my Vehicle has a Broken moonroof Manager from Serviced dept stated that it is safe to drive, and did Not offer any assistance whatsoever as in advising me that this is an ongoing problem with the Jeep Wagoneer.

When opening any door to the vehicle, the interior lights will stay on for 90 seconds and then go off. And will only come back on if the key fob unlock button is pressed, or if you climb into the vehicle and initiate the lights "on" button overhead. I've had the vehicle to 2 different Wagoneer certified dealers and they both have confirmed the behavior of the vehicle. We've been in pursuit with Jeep for a fix for a year, and it has not been fixed. It is a safety issue because when the interior lights go out, and I'm loading items or children into my vehicle with the doors open at night, oncoming and surrounding traffic cannot see me, as my car is completely dark. This leaves myself, my children and vehicle extremely vulnerable, not to mention it's extremely difficult to navigate what you're doing in the vehicle when the lights are off. 90 seconds is too short of a time window for the lights to stay illuminated. The display in the dashboard loses power leaving the driver unable to control navigation, climate, audio, Bluetooth and all other components controlled via the in dash display. Basically all of the car’s electrical functions are controlled via the display, so this is a problem. Also, the driver seat will completely recline itself and move all the way backwards after the vehicle is turned off. This causes the rear passenger to not have leg room when entering the vehicle. This electrical problem has happened at least 8 times in my vehicle.

On four (4) separate occasions between December 2022 and April 2023 this vehicle lost all power and the engine shut off while the vehicle was in motion and being driven. The vehicle was being operated under normal conditions. Three occasions were while traveling on the Interstate, and the other time was on a city street. During these incidents, all electronic displays would shut off, the engine would turn off, and power steering stopped working. The vehicle would need to be coasted to a complete stop before the engine could be restarted and driven again. This was a safety risk to occupants in the vehicle as the vehicle could not be controlled, and a risk to other motorists on the road as lights were no longer working and the vehicle could not be steered to avoid a collision. This vehicle has been to a dealer's service center and the cause has not been determined. This safety issue has not been fixed. The manufacturer is aware of these incidents and has not provided a solution, diagnosis, or repair. Two warning lights turned on immediately before the vehicle's power turned off: Electric Power Steering Fault Warning Light and Electronic Throttle Control Warning Light.

We have had our 2022 Wagoneer for 5 months. I noticed that the right rear axle had the boot torn and there was grease all over the bottom of the car on the right rear side. We also felt vibrations coming from the right rear. We took the car in to get the axle replaced, however we are still feeling these vibrations. After looking through Internet forums based on consumer experiences of our vehicle, it is a common issue that is being ignored by the manufacturer. One consumer, had the unpleasant experience of having the axle come off the vehicle while driving and almost flipping. I have since taken the vehicle back to the dealership but they claim that they don’t feel any vibrations, which I know they are lying because the vibrations are very prominent. I wanted to know what we could possibly do about our situation, considering that there are thousands of vehicles experiencing the same symptoms.

PE24018 · Engine Stall With Intermittent Restart

The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has received 80 consumer complaints alleging an engine stall and loss of motive power on model year (MY) 2022 RAM 1500 pickup trucks and 2022 Jeep Wagoneer SUV vehicles. The particular engines in the subject vehicles are equipped with the Fiat Chrysler Automotive Group LLC (FCA) 5.7L Hemi eTorque system. The eTorque system is a mild hybrid system that lets the vehicle partially power itself. It accomplishes this by converting the captured energy from the braking system into electricity for the battery pack, which is then used to power a variety of electrical components. ETorque engines replace the alternator with a 48-volt battery-powered belt drive and a motor generator. The motor generator provides extra torque to the crankshaft during gear changes. Simultaneously, the motor generator uses the 48-volt battery pack to increase torque. Many of the complaints state that the vehicle's engine would shut off, often while travelling at slow speed, the vehicle would shift into park and apply the emergency brake. The vehicles were sometimes able to be restarted. In addition, complaints state that the malfunction warning light with the battery fault symbol appeared on the dash.  Many complaints state that a low voltage condition fault is present, sometimes not being able to restart the vehicle. On April 13, 2023, FCA announced recall 23V-265 describing a defect in certain 2021 Ram 1500 vehicles equipped with 5.7L eTorque engines.  The recall described a defect in the powertrain control module software can cause an incorrect fuel mixture condition in the engine, and result in an engine stall. In February of 2024, ODI provided the complaints on the 2022 Ram 1500 and Wagoneer vehicles to FCA. After reviewing the complaints, FCA stated that “the loss of motive power was likely not caused by an over rich fuel condition (as outlined in recall 23V-265), but rather some other cause (e.g., an electrical concern that causes the engine to shut down).” A Preliminary Evaluation has been opened to assess the scope, frequency, root cause(s) and consequences of these loss/stall of motive power incidents.  Additionally, ODI may expand the scope of the subject population during the investigation, if needed. To review the ODI reports cited in the Opening Resume ODI Report Identification Number document, go to NHTSA.gov.

Electrical System
