The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with defective wiring and that the Forward Collision Avoidance module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. I was notified that my vehicle is involved in a recall for Potential Steering Knuckle separation. I proceeded to contact Jeep (both dealer and Recall department) to know what is going to be done about this. I proceeded to inform the agent that I was concerned with my safety regarding this recall, and was told by the agent that at the moment they have no means to repair the problem, they cannot provide me a solution in regards to a safer car, and if the car had issues related to this recall that I would just have to deal with it. The company denied providing me a lease or rented car in the mean time, denied me any timeline for a solution and disregarded my safety concerns regarding this risk. I am and my family is at risk of serious injury/death in the event that the wheel can fall outward while driving as a loss of “clamp load” defects.

It has been observed that the antifreeze and oil are intermixing in the antifreeze reservoir, causing the check engine light to illuminate and the system to register a code of PC304. This particular code is indicative of a cylinder misfire, which can cause the car to stop functioning properly and eventually lead to potential engine damage. To resolve this issue, it is imperative to replace the oil cooler filter adapter and flush the engine. This will ensure that the antifreeze and oil are no longer mixing and the engine is functioning efficiently. Therefore, it is highly recommended to take immediate action and get the necessary repairs done to avoid any further damage to the engine.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Dodge Durango, 2021-2023 Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, 2022 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, Chrysler Voyager, 2022-2023 Jeep Compass, Grand Cherokee, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Ram Promaster vehicles. The radio software may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the radio software or the software will be OTA, "Over-The-Air," free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning July 9, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's numbers for this recall are 66B and 79B.

Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display while in reverse decreases the driver's visibility of the rear view, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
