2019 Jeep Cherokee

Manufacturers spark plug broke off into engine and destroyed my engine. Vehicle only had 76,000 miles on it. When I ordered a new engine from Jeep there was a wait of 10 weeks with about 20+ people in front of me. I sent the spark plug to Jeep and they will not return it. I do have pictures on my phone. There’s still 20+ people waiting on an engine. This seems to be a massive problem with the vehicle costing people thousands. It should be investigated at the very least.

Passenger seat belts closest two both driver side and passenger side in the back seat do not lock properly. We tried to vacuum it clean and blow compressed air in it to clean it out but still not working. We took it to a local jeep dealer and they confirmed they would need to be replaced but only the extended warranty covers $599 (we owe $386). This should be an automatic safety hazard because I have a child who sits there and a pet who gets tethered there. If an accident was to occur and injured either of them, that would be grounds for a lawsuit. The car is treated the same as my sedan and it has no seatbelt issues.

Had to have the PTU replaced in May of 2023 due to the sv 4wd light that came on. Now fast forward to January of 2025 I needed to replace the rear differential. Also new tires once again! In December I started noticing that I would have to pump the accelerator to get the vehicle to go but was fine once it was going. On December 10th while driving and stopped at a red light the truck cut off, I quickly turned on the flasher and tried to restart the truck. This happened every time I stopped. Power transfer failed while going through and intersection resulted in the vehicle being stranded in the travel lane of the highway I was crossing. Vehicle was towed to the closest transmission shop after jeep informed me there is currently no fix for the situation and they could not help with warranty service due to no repair has been found

PTU/rear differential failure The car began to act weird making some popping and banging noises on a two separate occasions, after that there began to be a rattling noise the car then during acceleration just lurched and almost locked up to a complete stop. Luckily this happened on a city street and a non busy hour of traffic with no one following. Other than the two sounds that were sporadic and far in-between not pinpointing anything seriously wrong initially there was no indication of serious issues, no warning lights or dash lights indicated an issue eventually there was a slight rattling then the lock up, even after the lurching incident there was no warning or dash lights that signified and issue. Dealership confirmed it's the rear differential/PTU wants $6,000 to repair the damage seems to indicate it's an occurrence due to pothole damage
