Our RV experienced frame failure twice. It was repaired by the rv facility the first time as it was under warranty. 2nd time it was not. This is a widespread and ongoing issue on Lippert frames and needs to be on a recall. The danger of a 45ft 5th wheel frame breaking on a major freeway could be catastrophic.

On May 24, 2021 we received a notification from Dometic Corporation in reference to a problem with the stove in our Rv. There is a gas leak in the stove and a remedy kit needs to be attained. The customer has to do pretty much all of the leg work. The stove has to be taken apart to attain the Model and Serial numbers to see if they match from list given. A picture of the information needs to be emailed along with a form to attained a remedy kit. Info has to be received from the dealer where the work is to be performed and listed on the form .Propane gas can not be used in the rv for other components, such as the refrigerator, water heater and furnace. One of the forms received was dated November 13, 2020. According to Dometic, this is when the problem arose, so we were not notified until 6 and a half months later. In the meantime, we were using our camper. When asked what compensation will be provide to the customer and the response was "none." When I stated that the customer is doing all the legwork, the response from Dometic was: No, all you have to do is bring it there. This situation has been handled very poorly. It took Dometic 6 and a half months to notify customers because they did not have the parts in stock to fix the issue. Too long !!! And now, according to Dometic, it will be a month beofre the remedy kit is sent to the dealer. Again...too long !!!

I BOUGHT A 2019 JAYCO JAYFLIGHT, TRAVEL TRAILER, MODEL 29BHDB. MY SLIDE OUT HAS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT THAT IS ALSO A SAFETY AND A LEGAL ISSUE AS WELL; BECAUSE THE HOLE TO INSERT A CRANK TO MANUALLY OPERATE THE SLIDE SHOULD IT FAIL IS BLOCKED BY THE TANK, SO IF THE SLIDE SHOULD FAIL THERE IS NO WAY TO MANUALLY RETRACT IT, WHICH MEANS THAT I WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE WITH MY SLIDE EXTENDED IF THAT SHOULD HAPPEN, THAT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND A LEGAL ISSUE BECAUSE IT IS AN OFFENSE TO DRIVE WITH YOUR SLIDE EXTENDED, BUT I WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE TO A REPAIR SHOP TO HAVE THAT FIXED IF I CANNOT RETRACT THE SLIDE MANUALLY. THAT IS WOULD BE VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE DRIVING WITH AN EXTENDED SLIDE OUT AFFECTS THE AERODYNAMICS OF YOUR VEHICLE WHILE IN MOTION. IN 2020 JAYCO DECIDED TO DISCONTINUE THIS MODEL BECAUSE OF THIS DEFECT AND OTHER ISSUES, BUT THEY HAVE REFUSED TO FIX THE DEFECT. THE TRAVEL TRAILER CAME WITH THE CRANK TO OPERATE THE SLIDE MANUALLY BUT THE HOLE TO ATTACH THE CRANK TO THE CRANK EXTENSION IS BLOCKED BY THE HOLDING TANK.
