Subject: 2019 Jaguar XE – Recall H535 Did Not Restore Rear Camera Function I own a 2019 Jaguar XE that experienced rear-view camera failure consistent with Recall H535 regarding rear camera wiring issues. My rear camera stopped functioning before recall service, which is why I brought the vehicle to the dealer. After performing the recall repair, the dealer advised that the camera itself may have failed and may require replacement outside the recall remedy. My concern is that the recall-related condition either caused or contributed to the camera failure, and the recall remedy has not restored operation of the rear visibility system. Vehicle Information: * Year/Make/Model: 2019 Jaguar XE * Recall Number: H535 Current Condition: * Rear camera remains inoperative / camera function has not been restored after recall service. * Dealer indicated camera replacement may be needed separately. * I am requesting review of whether the recall remedy adequately addresses failures associated with this defect and whether damage caused by the recall condition is being excluded from repair coverage. Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair, or replace the rearview camera wiring harness, as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 2, 2026. Owners may contact Jaguar's customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H535. This recall replaces and expands previous recall number 23V-501. Vehicles already repaired under recall 23V-501 will need to have the new remedy completed.
