I HAD THE BRAKES APPLIED ON MY CAR, AND PUT IT IN REVERSE IN ORDER TO CORRECTLY POSITION THE CAR IN A PARKING SPACE. WITH MY FOOT STILL ON THE BRAKES, BECAUSE I WAS ONLY MOVING THE CAR A FEW FEET, THE TACHOMETER TOOK OFF LIKE CRAZY, THE ENGINE REVED UP AND THE CAR STARTING INCHING BACKWARDS EVEN THOUGH I STILL HAD MY FOOT ON THE…

I HAD THE BRAKES APPLIED ON MY CAR, AND PUT IT IN REVERSE IN ORDER TO CORRECTLY POSITION THE CAR IN A PARKING SPACE. WITH MY FOOT STILL ON THE BRAKES, BECAUSE I WAS ONLY MOVING THE CAR A FEW FEET, THE TACHOMETER TOOK OFF LIKE CRAZY, THE ENGINE REVED UP AND THE CAR STARTING INCHING BACKWARDS EVEN THOUGH I STILL HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKES. I ALMOST WAS GOING TO HIT THE PARKED CAR IN BACK OF ME SO I SLAMMED THE (AUTOMATI) GEAR INTO PARK. ONLY THEN DID THE ENGINE STOP REVVING AND THE CAR STOP. I TURNED THE IGNITION OFF AND CAME IN TO WORK AND TRIED TO CALM DOWN BECAUSE I WAS VERY FRIGHTENED. THIS ALSO HAPPENED TWO WEEKS AGO, WHILE I WAS IN DRIVE, WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE. THE ENGINE STARTED REVVING AND MOVING FORWARD. AT THE TIME, I THOUGHT THIS WAS BECAUSE I MAY HAVE BEEN ON BLACK ICE.*CN
