All electrical systems proceeded to malfunction with the check engine and driver safety system warnings blaring. Vehicle proceeded to accelerate from 10-40 mph on its own for approximately 400 meters on the freeway. Vehicle brake and acceleration system did not respond to any driver input for approximately the entire length. Vehicle then proceeded to respond normally temporarily allowing us to pull over to a nearby parking lot and engage the emergency parking brake and out the gear into park. Transmission gear indicator then proceeded to switch randomly from Drive to neutral to park and repeating with infotainment system glitching. After engine was shut off and given time it was restarted and vehicle operated normally. Vehicle is currently under diagnosis with service center (Huffines Hyundai McKinney).

At approximately 69000 miles my engine stalled as I was pulling onto a highway and would not accelerate beyond a low mph. I turned back into gas station I had left and checked the oil. It did not register any oil and had a burning smell. There were never any dash lights indicating low oil. I put almost 2 quarts in vehicle. I then proceeded to drive as it seemed okay. I have had oil changes where the technicians have told me I was low on oil even though it was a normal time frame for oil change. I recently checked my oil just right as my oil change is due and the oil level did not register, nor were there any low oil indicators on dash. I had to add a quart of oil. This poses a hazard/safety problem. If not checked more often than normal, oil could go low and stall again. If pulling into a busy traffic area and a stall occurs, there could be an accident etc not to mention damage to the motor/engine itself. I have to frequently check the oil levels which should not have to happen for a vehicle with 70k+ miles.

Dealership said there was a problem with the navigation system and the car needed a software update. Also advised, the update would repair some other electrical and system issues as well. Was told on 5/17 update would not be available until the end of May and that my carcshould not be driven so I should maintain the rental they provided. Lsstly, I have noticed some performance issues with shifting and speed as well. I thought update might fix, but after reading other complaints I will be reporting it to the dealership as well.

While running errands in her 2016 Hyundai Tucson my wife rolled down her front driver and passenger side windows. When she encountered rain she attempted to roll both windows up, but the passenger side window would not roll up, causing a dangerous distraction where heavy rain was entering the vehicle while she was driving. Our mechanic inspected this part and said that the gears controlling the window were made of plastic which had been shredded over time and that the motor itself showed signs of corrosion. The vehicle is only 7 years old and has been well maintained, so i can't understand why this part failed so easily. Our mechanic informed us that this is a VERY common issue with Hyundai vehicles and that parts would be hard to come by because of high demand. This issue is available for inspection upon request and has been inspected by a licensed mechanic. There were no dash warnings associated with this issue.

It had to be towed home where it remains broken down. I don't know if it's the engine I don't know if it's electrical but it will not start the battery is fine the alternator is fine I reported it to Hyundai's consumer hotline and was told to take it to a dealer and have it looked at but the car is not drivable I cannot afford another tow bill to have it taken to a Hyundai mechanic
