WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP, THE ENGINE WOULD POP AND THEN THE ENGINE WOULD STOP. THIS OCCURRENCE OCCASIONALLY WOULD ALSO HAPPEN WHEN THE CLUTCH IS PULLED IN. WHEN I FIRST PURCHASED THE BIKE, I HAD NOTIFIED THE DEALER THAT THE ENGINE HAD POPPED AND STOPPED A COUPLE TIMES. THEY LOOKED AT IT AND HAD NO SOLUTION. I HAD PURCHASED A BOOSTERPLUG FROM AN AFTERMARKET SOURCE THAT LESSENED THE ENGINE STALLING, NOT ELIMINATED IT. THE PORPOISE OF THE BOOSTERPLUG WAS TO RICHEN THE LEAN FUEL MIXTURE WHICH CAUSES THE ENGINE STALLING. BMW ARE THE MANUFACTURE OF THE ENGINE AND FUEL SYSTEM. THEY KNOW THE ENGINE BEST. CURRENTLY THERE IS A FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR THE BMW BRANDED BIKES WITH THE SAME ENGINE, SAME PROBLEM AS THE TERRA. WHEN CAN MY BIKE GET FIXED? THERE IS A NHTSA RECALL NOTICE 16V-124 8/16/16 WITH NO RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM.

BIKE STALLS AT CERTAIN RPMS. THIS ISSUE IS PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT/DANGEROUS WHEN PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC FROM A STOP AND ALSO DURING STEADY, MID TO LOW RPM CORNERS. WHEN PULLING AWAY FROM A STOP BIKE CAN STALL AND DIE LEAVING ME IN THE WAY OF TRAFFIC WHILE I RESTART. IN CORNERS THE BIKE DOESN'T DIE BUT THE STALL ADVERSELY AFFECTS POWER/STABILITY. I HAVE LEARNED TO RIDE AROUND THIS ISSUE TO SOME EXTENT BUT WITH A NEW RIDER THIS COULD VERY WELL RESULT IN A TRAGIC ACCIDENT. HOW THIS HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO CONTINUE WITHOUT A RECALL OR RESULTING DEATH IS AMAZING.

MY 2013 HUSQVARNA TR650 STRADA HAS BAD IDLING ISSUES. ONE MINUTE IT RUNS OK AND THE NEXT THE ENGINE ACCELERATES UNEXPECTANTLY AND SOMETIMES IT STALLS UNEXPECTANTLY. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND IT ALSO RUNS ERRATICALLY WHILE PARKED.
