AFTER 4 YEARS OF USE, THE ODOMETER BLACKENED OUT TO THE POINT THAT I HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING MY MILEAGE. I REPLACED IT, AND NOW THE REPLACEMENT IS ALSO TOO DARK TO READ! I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF I AM RUNNING OUT OF GAS, NO WAY TO KNOW WHEN TO HAVE THE BRAKES CHECKED, NO WAY TO KNOW WHEN THE OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED, NO WAY TO KNO…

I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF I AM RUNNING OUT OF GAS, NO WAY TO KNOW WHEN TO HAVE THE BRAKES CHECKED, NO WAY TO KNOW WHEN THE OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED, NO WAY TO KNOW IF IT IS TIME FOR ANY OTHER SAFETY CHECKS. I CONTACTED HONDA, THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD KEEP THE MOTORCYCLE IN THE GARAGE, AWAY FROM SUNLIGHT!?! I AM VERY RELUCTANT TO USE IT ON THE FREEWAYS ANYMORE, BECAUSE I WILL NOT KNOW WHEN I AM ABOUT TO RUN OUT OF GAS. THE ODOMETER IS A LCD PANEL, NOT A GOOD DESIGN.SEE PICTURE.
