2024 Honda Prologue

When driving vehicle noticed clicking noise in front passenger cv axle, it was a constant issue when turning to the right or left. Took to dealership they were able to replicate the issue and ordered the replacement part. Part took 7 days to arrive and was subsequently installed onto the vehicle causing the issue to go away. Recently the front driver side CV Axle has started to make the same noise when turning left. Dealership was unable to replicate and refused to fix. Car had 6000 miles on it when issue first happened. Front Driver side CV Axle happened around 8000 miles.

I got my honda prologue in may 2024, brand new. I have since had it into the shop about to be for the 2nd time due to clicking when i turn . CV JOINTS . they replaced all of them in 9/25 and now again in 11/25... not even 3 months later. I currently also have issues with the mileage, i used to get 260 when i would charge to 80% not i only get 230 if i am lucky. Also , my temp gauges tend of be wrong. along with my mileage showing i have more than i start driving and it goes down by 10-15 miles.... This car is worthless and the constant issues witht he CV JOINTS needs to be recalled so our cars can get bought back .. this is causing more issues for the owners than it needs to be

The message "Drive with Caution - Acceleration Decreased" was displayed. Additionally, the heater was inoperable, and the battery failed to charge above 25 percent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced the front axles four times and serviced the battery; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.

The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed and completing a left turn, there was an abnormal clicking sound coming from the front end of the vehicle. The contact stated that the abnormal clicking sound also occurred while completing a right turn. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that the driver’s and passenger’s sides front axles had failed. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts unavailability. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 24,000.

Hello good morning my car is sounding too bad noise more and more everyday went to showroom 3 times show them and they giving reply that this is honda manufacturing default we are working on it to fix it everytime they are responding the same and everyday me and my family is scared to drive this car on highway please help we are paying so much for this car and we are not having no answer And i attach the photo of how the honda people are replying me on everycall please help us we are soo disappointed of this car paying this much money and we got this car i dont need this car so upset with honda

At 1200 miles the car began to have clicking noise when doing sharp turns which appeared to be a CV joint/ axle issue. At 3900 miles dealership replaced both axles. Claimed original parts were defective. Left dealership and with in 9 miles of driving, the same problem problem continued with the clicking, only louder. Car also has "sticky" unresponsive steering for brief moment every time when attempting change lanes or exit freeway. This is an issue expereince only when the car is driven at higher speeds. Lane depature system is always disabled so it should not contribute to this problem. Car is now back at the dealership to have the axles replaced again with only 4000 miles on it. This means the car is now on it's third set of axles in under 9 months and with 4000 miles.

I purchased brand new honda prologue almost spent 60k and from the day i bought the car starting the next week it start making slow sounds from front tire or suspension and slowly slowly it going more and more i went for my 1 service complain about that to the service advisor he finish the service and come back to me and give me the answer that this is manufacture default honda is having we cannot do nothing in this case indeed not having no help i leave from there the sounds getting more and more i am getting too scared to drive this vehicle on highway on 70mph because i feel the tire will break i went again for 2 service recently with more noice and they gave me the same answer that honda have manufacturing default i mean spending 60k with this kind of response is crazy i cannot believe i am soo disappointed and upset to have this car i am soo scared i need help please help me asap

Since then, I’ve been experiencing an issue where the car makes clicking noises when turning the steering wheel left or right. It appears to be related to the axles, and this is not normal for a new vehicle. This situation is becoming extremely frustrating, as I bought this car for comfort and peace of mind—not to feel unsafe or uncomfortable while driving.
