Major amount of "Clicking/Clacking" when Turning . . . has progressively gotten worse over the past year until a few months ago when it "Became More Consistant" ==> Took vehicle to Avalon Honda to properly diagnose and record with the Manufacturer's, eg., Honda/GM
The front axle makes a grinding and click sound whenever you're turning. Dealership replaced the part but then the new one just broke as well. The front axle makes a grinding and click sound whenever you're turning. Dealership replaced the part but then the new one just broke as well. Now Honda is refusing to replace again as they supposedly work on a fix that has been well over a year in the making now. Separate problem with the adaptive cruise control. It randomly slams on the brakes on the highway. Dealership agreed they experienced it but nothing they could do and I would just have to wait for a software update and hope it fixes the problem.
Clicking in both right and left axle CV joint when making sharp turns at low speed. Honda tech states: No visible damage, will not fix. Safe to drive

The issue appears to involve the steering and/or front drivetrain system. When making any U-turn, particularly at low speeds with the steering wheel turned to full lock, a distinct clicking sound is heard from the front of the vehicle. The sound occurs consistently during tight turning maneuvers.Because U-turns are often performed in intersections or busy roadways, any unexpected mechanical failure could put me, my passengers, and nearby drivers or pedestrians at risk. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer or any other entity. No warning lamps/ messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the start of this issue.
cv problem clicking sound every time I turn with low speed .
Loud Clicking sound when the steering wheel is turned to the left. The axles are making a Clicking sound.
Knocking sound coming from the front driver or passenger area when making turns. Possibly the shaft assembly/CV axle may be defective.
When turning right or left during 90-degree turns or U-turns, a loud clicking noise is heard. Already had the front axle replaced during first maintenance and the problem came back within 2 months of normal driving.

American Honda Motor Company (Honda) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Honda Prologue and 2024 Acura ZDX vehicles. The rearview camera screen may display a distorted or blank image.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A rearview image that does not display correctly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed July 7, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in late 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are DO5 and RO6. The information in your report suggests that Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) may have been aware of this issue more than five business days before filing a report with NHTSA. Please be reminded that under Federal law, this agency is to be notified of all safety defect and/or noncompliance decisions within five business days. 49 CFR 573.6 Significant civil penalties can be assessed for this violation.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Acura ZDX and Prologue vehicles. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display may fail. Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays," 111, "Rear Visibility," and 305, "Electric-Powered Vehicles."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, the loss of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will update the vehicle radio control module software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed April 22, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are TNL and XNK. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning March 4, 2026.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Prologue vehicles. The right front lower control arm may contain a manufacturing defect that can cause it to fracture.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A right front lower control arm fracture can cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the right front lower control arm as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 3, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is PIY.
