AIR BAG SENSOR LIGHT COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY DUE TO A SRS CONTROL UNIT FAILURE. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
SRS LIGHT LIT AFTER START UP OF VEHICLE, DEALER RESET, AND CLAIMED THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. SRS LIGHT LIT AGAIN. DEALER CLAIMED SRS UNIT FALURE DUE TO INTERMITTENT SHORTES. COST TO REPAIR 453.95 PLUS TAX. SRS UNIT FAILURE CAUSED AIR BAGS TO BE INOPERATIVE. *AK
ON ANNUAL INSPECTION, RIGHT REAR DISC AND PAD SHOWED EXCESSIVE WEAR/SCORING ALTHOUGH ALL OTHER DISCS & PADS WERE NORMAL. DISASSEMBLY SHOWED INNER PAD WORN ONLY ON PARTIAL AREA OF SURFACE. PADS WERE BOTH ADEQUATELY INTACT SO THEY WERE NOT THE SOURCE OF SCORING. SOURCE OF SCORING NOT FOUND. *AK
SRS WARNING LIGHT ON. DEALER WANTS $623 TO FIX. SAID ISOLATED EVENT AND SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.
UNDER CARRIAGE DEVELOPING RUST DUE TO CORROSION. THIS RUST DEPOSIT IS ALSO GETTING INTO THE ABS SYSTEM, AND CAUSING ERRATIC OPERATION OF THE BRAKES WHEN APPLIED. CAN NHTSA HELP IN THIS MATTER. *AK
