MY PROBLEM IS NOT WITH MY VEHICLE, BUT WITH THE CAR SEAT INSTALLATION. I WAS IN THE CHILD SAFETY SCREEN WHICH PROMPTED ME TO THIS COMPLAINT FORM. I HAVE SEARCHED FOR INFORMATION FOR 3 YEARS ON HOW TO INSTALL MY INFANT CAR SEAT CORRECTLY. I HAVE 2 KIDS, SO 2 CAR SEATS MUST BE INSTALLED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BACK SEAT. THE SHOULDER SEAT BELT IS WHAT MUST BE USED IN THESE POSITIONS, BUT THEY ARE NEVER SECURE. WHEN I TURN A SHARP CORNER, THE CARSEAT SHIFTS TO A SIDEWAYS POSITION. I HAVE TRIED A LOCKING CLIP, BUT I CAN'T GET THAT TO WORK EITHER. ALSO, I THINK INFANT CAR SEATS ARE DESIGNED UNSAFELY. MY INFANT'S HEAD ALWAYS ENDS UP AT HER FEET WHEN SHE FALLS ASLEEP. I WAS TOLD TO PUT A STACK OF TOWELS UNDERNEATH THE SEAT TO HELP THE ANGLE OF THE SEAT. THAT DOES NOT WORK SATISFACTORILY EITHER. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN A CRASH IF MY BABY WERE SLEEPING AND TOTALLY FLOPPED OVER LIKE THAT? I AM NOT SATISFIED THAT MY CHILDREN ARE RIDING SAFELY IN THEIR SEATS AND I DEFINITELY NEED SOME ANSWERS.
