TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLTR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, HE ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE VEHICLE BY APPLYING THE REAR BRAKE AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT BRAKE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE USING THE FRONTAL BRAKE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. …

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLTR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, HE ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE VEHICLE BY APPLYING THE REAR BRAKE AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT BRAKE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE USING THE FRONTAL BRAKE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 75,000. ....UPDATED 08-24-12 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE BRAKE SWITCH FAILED AFTER IT SHORTED AND MELTED. I INSPECTED THE FAILED PART IT HAD OBVIOUS DAMAGE ON THE EXTERIOR AND APPEARED TO HAVE MELTED. THE FAILED BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH FLUID LEAK AND IMMEDIATE FAILURE. 08/31/2012 *JS
