PROBLEMS WITH 110 CI CVO ENGINE MAP. ENGINE SOMETIMES DIES WHEN SHIFTING, POPS BACK THROUGH INTAKE. HAD THIS HAPPEN ON SAID DATE, WHEN ENTERING HIGHWAY ONTO ON RAMP. I WAS COMING UP TO HIGHWAY SPEED, ABOUT 60-65 MPH, WITH TWO SEMI'S IN HEAVY TRAFFIC WITH AMPLE SPACE FOR ME TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC. PULLED CLUTCH IN, AND THE ENGINE DIED INSTANTLY. HAD TO TAKE THE BIKE TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD, TO ALLOW FOR SEMI'S TO PASS BY WHILE HITTING START BUTTON TO RESTART THE ENGINE. AFTER STARTING BACK UP I WAS ABLE THEN TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED, IT HAS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES ON THE HIGHWAY, AND IN TOWN IN SLOWER TRAFFIC WHEN SLOWING AND TAKING OFF. ENGINE ALSO HAS REPEATED REAR CYLINDER OIL LEAKS, I AM CURRENTLY ON MY THIRD CYLINDER THAT THEY ARE REPLACING ON MY BIKE. THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE MAP, OR THE CAUSE OF MY OIL LEAKS. I HAVE HAD OTHER ISSUES OF CHROME AND PAINT PROBLEMS BUT ALL OF THESE ARE MINOR, COMPARED TO THE ENGINE STALLING, AND OIL LEAKS. COMPRESSION RELEASES INTERMITTENTLY WORK, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE STARTER, CAUSING IT TO FAIL. WHICH HAS LEFT ME STRANDED, AND I HAD TO TRAILER THE BIKE BACK TO THE DEALER. I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS BIKE 11 MONTHS, AND ALL OF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO IT AND MORE. I FEEL IT'S UNSAFE TO RIDE A MOTORCYCLE THAT SOMETIMES DIES IN BETWEEN GEAR CHANGES. THIS COULD LEAD TO ACCIDENTS OR POSSIBLE DEATHS. ON THE 8TH WAS A NEAR MISS OF THIS MAGNITUDE. THE DEALER AND COMPANY HAVE TRIED REPEATEDLY TO FIX THIS AND HAVE YET TO DATE. *JB
