April 13, 2021 was attempting to load trailer with skids weighing less than 2,000 pounds, and before the load was even set onto the trailer, the tongue snapped off the trailer completely. Tongue snapped off without any warning whatsoever. The trailer originally rated at 14,000 pounds and we had the trailer derated to 10,000 pounds. We have documentation proving we have never loaded the trailer with more than 4,000 pounds. Fortunately this happened at the plant and not while going down the road which could have been a major catastrophic accident resulting in death. H&H Trailer came from Iowa a week later to pickup the trailer to take back to their manufacturing facility for inspection. Lawsuit has been filed against H&H Trailer for the incident. Attached are pictures of broken tongue and bill of ladings proving the load weights.
