I HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON THIS WELL KNOWN PROBLEM OF THIS PART CREATING A WILD HORSE VEHICLE AT UNEXPECTED TIMES. SO FAR GM IS NOT HELPING, THE LAST VISIT WAS CONFIRMED THIS PUMP WAS THE PROBLEM AND A NEW PUMP. WAS NOT MADE AND GM ONLY OFFERS A OVERHAULED UNIT. THE CURRENT PUMP IS A ON GOING PROBLEM WITH VEHICLE CUTTING OFF AND AT TIMES TURNING INTO A FULL THROTTLE. STANADYNE THE COMPANY MAKING THE PUMP IS IN DENIAL THE PUMP DOES THIS. I HAVE TALKED WITH OTHER OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS. I HESITATE PUTTING ANYTHING USED ON THIS VEHICLE, THIS PROBLEM PART IS STILL MANUFACTURED NEW BY STANADYN CORP. I KNOW FOR A FACT THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN BROUGHT UP REPEATEDLY TO GM AND NATIONAL HIGHWAY SAFETY DIVISION. FORGET ANY MONEY FOR THE PROBLEM, AND THE IGNORANCE OF THIS FACTUAL PROBLEM, I WOULD JUST LIKE A SAFE VEHICLE WITH OUT ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS THAT GO BAD. *TR
