!!!PLEASE MAKE A NATIONAL BROADCAST!!!: "Do not drive - brake booster pushrod cotter pin inspection" Recall incomplete Do not drive your vehicle until your recall service is complete. The dealer might be able to complete the free service at your location or you can get your vehicle towed to a dealer.Description On your vehicle, it may be possible for the brake booster pushrod to separate from the brake pedal due to a missing cotter pin. Safety Risk This may result in a loss of braking function while driving, increasing the risk of a crash. Remedy Do not drive your vehicle until the vehicle passes the inspection or the repair has been performed. Parts are available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect for the presence of the cotter pin and a redundant clip, replacing either, or both if necessary. 26V579000 · Seat Belts: Rear/other:buckle Assembly

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Transit vehicles. The wireless seat belt reminder system (SBR) within the rear seat belt buckles may malfunction and fail to show a change in buckle status.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A faulty seat belt status indicator may fail to alert occupants to an unfastened seat belt, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the rear seat belts and replace the wireless seat belt buckles, as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed September 21, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in December 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S67. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on September 10, 2026.
