I HAD IT REPAIRED ELSEWHERE BY AN ASE & AAA CERTIFIED SHOP FOR $400 LESS THAN THE DEALER TRIED TO CHARGE. THE MILEAGE IS ONLY 60,000. IT STILL STALLS EVEN AFTER THAT PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. IT ALSO ONLY GETS AROUND 11 MPG WHEN OTHER TRUCKS OF THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL GET AROUND 18. FORD CONSUMER SERVICES WOULD NOT ASSIST ME IN ANY WAY. THEY GAVE ME A 'RECORD NUMBER' OR SOME OTHER USELESS TERM LIKE THAT BUT NO ASSISTANCE IN INTERVENING WITH THE DEALER. THE DEF SYSTEM HAS NEVER WORKED PROPERLY- NO WARNING OF LOW LEVEL OR WARNING OF LOW LEVEL WHEN THE TANK IS OVER 3/4 FULL, IT HAS BEEN 40,000 MILES SINCE I SAW THE DISPLAY 'CLEANING EXHAUST FILTER' AND OTHER OWNERS TELL ME THEY SEE IT FAIRLY FREQUENTLY. NEITHER OF THE DEALERSHIPS IN MY COUNTY WILL HELP ME. IT WAS AT MULLAHEY FORD AND THE ONLY THING THEY 'FOUND' WRONG WITH IT WAS THE FUEL REDUCTANT HEATER ISSUE I TOLD THEM ABOUT. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Ford owners will receive letters in phases, beginning January 2026 and June 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S89. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 25V270. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 8, 2025.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2015 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks manufactured September 13, 2013, through March 28, 2014, and equipped with 6.2L gasoline or 6.7L diesel engines and 6R140 transmissions. An error with the transmission control software may be such that while shifting from "Park" to "Drive" the vehicle may display "Drive" but possibly engage "Reverse" for 1.5 seconds before engaging "Drive." Therefore, the vehicles do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: If the vehicle is in "Reverse" while the while the gear selection shows "Drive," unexpected movement could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will update the transmission software, free of charge. The recall began on May 6, 2014. Owners may contact Fords customer service at 1-800-392-3673. Ford's number for this recall is 14C04.

The Office of Defect Investigations (ODI) has received 27 complaints alleging diesel fuel leaks due to a fracture in the secondary fuel filter housing in model year (MY) 2015-2021 Ford Motor Company (Ford) F-250, 350, 450, and 550 Super Duty vehicles equipped with 6.7L diesel engines. Ford manufactured approximately 555,985 subject vehicles between February 22, 2010 and January 30, 2015 that may be affected by defective EGT sensors and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software calibration. The subject vehicles are equipped with four (4) EGT sensors to monitor engine operating conditions. An EGT sensor fault may produce false exhaust over-temperature signals. If these signals are produced, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) implements a Failure Management Effects Mode (FMEM) and the driver receives a Stop Safely Now (SSN) system warning on the instrument cluster message center.
