Following a couple of visits to the Ford dealership, the service team was unable to find any diagnostic trouble codes or issues. The window's performance is compromised in both directions. Additionally, I have observed the passenger side airbag warning light flashing couple of times. I bought the vehicle on [XXX], Only 6 Months with this vehicle and during my June 6th, 2025 oil change, the service team recommended replacing the wiper blades, which seems excessive considering the low rainfall in San Diego, California. Two weeks ago I noticed a crack on my windshield that had creeped up from the inside. This is a brand new Ford Escape purchased 8 months ago that I barely use because I work from home. I took the car to Mossy Ford in San Diego where several workers took an object to the bottom portion of the windshield. I was then instructed to file a report with Ford's customer service, who did nothing for a week. I was then instructed to return to Mossy Ford for a 'pen test' which I did yesterday, April 9. You can rub your fingers along the crack on the outside pane and feel nothing. They allege that a dot at the bottom of the windshield created the crack. There are a number of reports on the Internet pertaining to cracks in the windshield - suggesting installation problems and/or quality of glass. Not only will Ford not replace at their cost, I am fearful for my life with this car.

Not sure if there's a fuel problem or what it could be, but my vehicle pause on the first take off. It doesn't happen all the time, but soon as I fuel my vehicle and proceeding to drive off I'm accelerating in traffic and the vehicle will stop, pause as if I'm braking, vehicle is still running, everything I still on, it just pause while accelerating ONLY on my first initial takeoff. I continue to try and accelerate, and then it will proceed to drive. Driving on the expressway, every now & then it has a egg sulfur smell..With NO codes reading. Service department will not fix unless they can read a potential code, or if they can catch the problem. However, the problem doesn't happen all the time. It's like having a tooth ache, & soon as you go to a dentist, the pain isn't there... The egg/sulfur smell doesn't always smell, it's like you drive it awhile, get on the expressway & you "MIGHT" discover the smell.

The car would act like it would die or cut off after idling for a while at a drive thru or school pick up. Took the car twice to the dealership they couldn't replicate it. Then the car died and shut off in the middle of a busy intersection at a red light. I was nearly hit head on and rear ended. I got the car started and out of the way and I had it towed to the dealership. The cars check engine light was on. It had never shut off before or had the engine light come on until then. It said crank shaft sensor and the PCM weren't allowing proper engine control. And the dealership has had it sense then. Bought the car in August 2024 and January 2025 the dealership has had my car. It is now march 2025. I have invoices. They say it's fixed every time I would pick the vehicle up and it never is.

The voice assistance button and map are not working on my car. The problem started on [XXX]. This is used to control my phone because Ohio is hands-free and I cannot use my phone while driving. The map is not working. Also. The dealer could not fix the problem and for customer care could not fix the problem. They said it would not be fixed until the end of the year. It is now 2025 and they still have not fixed the problem. They do not consider this a recall and I don't understand why.
