2019 Ford Ecosport

I have tried multiple times to reach Ford Corporate since 6-6-22. They say they called me and there was not voicemail option so they closed my case. I keep opening case numbers with them. On Jun2 2nd, my car was parked, idling in the driveway on an incline. I opened the driver's side door and pushed the off button, the car then started to roll backwards. The door hit me and the car dragged me down the driveway into the street. The car then continued to roll into a neighbor's yard and hit the front of their house. It took out a support beam, the porch, the front brick wall and a window. I opened a claim with my insurance, called the cops. The police did not issue me a ticket since I was not driving the car when the incident happened. I had to go to the ER for multiple injuries where the front tire ran over my leg, a cut head and multiple burns from being dragged on pavement. The neighbors house- luckily no one was hurt, had to have the entire outer wall replaced, brick work, and porch. I am still healing from the accident, I have a major hematoma on my right leg that has caused severe tissue damage. I believe the car did not hold in park and rolled. The car will remain in the body shop for repairs until end of June.

We purchased the car new in July 2020. ON May 28 2022. My daughter did not see a stop sign. She broadsided an on coming pickup. The "cross lane alert" did not sound .. The pre collision braking system did not activate. lucky no one was serious injured. Both vehicles are "totaled" Ford did have a recall on 25,000 vehicles over "pre-Collision breaking" not working in 2020. My vehicle was not one of them.

Oil pump belt shredded without warning at 62,000 miles causing complete engine failure while driving in traffic. Multiple warning lights illuminated, but failure was abrupt and immediate. Car was performing normally and then within a matter of seconds I experienced complete loss of power. Vehicle is presently at the Ford garage. Ford representative told us that the belt for the oil pump shredded and caused loss of oil pressure which lead to a complete loss of power.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Ecosport. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the brakes seized and the vehicle lost motive power. The check engine, battery, and ABS warning lights were illuminated. The contact replaced the battery; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.

I am a new owner within the first year of purchase from Enterprise Car Sales. In the last two -three months when I am driving I smell gasoline inside the car which eventually go's away after 10 -15 minutes. I notice these events when my SUV runs over a pot hole, when accelerating downhill on the freeway and when driving for a extended time with my remote control for speed on. My SUV is available for inspection. Although, nothing has occurred I believe this issue is a safety concern to myself and the public if it is verified to be some sort of gasoline leak. I have recently reported engine and heating/air conditioning concerns to my service dealership within the last 3 months. They have been unable to inspect my SUV due to excessive back-up in service scheduling appointments. There have been no prior symptoms.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FORD ECOSPORT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE APPROACHING THE VEHICLE, SHE NOTICED THAT THE REAR TIRES ON THE VEHICLE WERE FLAT WITH METAL WIRES PROTRUDING FROM THE TIRES. THE TIRES WERE WORN FROM THE INSIDE. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO ELDER FORD (777 JOHN R RD, TROY, MI 48083, (888) 467-5023) WHO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY IMPROPER VEHICLE MAINTENANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.

2019 ECOSPORT STRUCK A POLE ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND SEVERAL ROCKS THAT BENT THE LEFT FRONT CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY AND BENT THE FRAME. IT DROVE THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL INTO THE CAR FRAME. THE VEHICLE WENT AIRBOUND AND CONTINUED THROUGH A FLOWER BED CONSTRUCTED OF PAVER STONES 18" HIGH. THE DESTRUCTION OF THE FLOWER BED FURTHER DESTROYED THE UNDERCARRIAGE WITH THE DRIVETRAIN PUSHED BACKWARDS. THE CAR LANDED AND EVENTUALLY STOPPED. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND DRIVER SUFFERED A SEVERED SPINE AND LATER DIED.*DT*DT*JB

I WAS DRIVING AND TIRE BLEW OUT ON 11/2/2020 AND THE SAME THING HAPPEN ON 03/12/2021. DEALERSHIP DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND COVERING IT UP BY PHOTOSHOPPING SOMEONE ELSE TIRE SCAMMING CUSTOMERS OUT THERE MONEY SAYING CUSTOMERS RAN OVER A NAIL SO CUSTOMERS CAN PAY MONEY. YOU CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE THAT THE PICTURE DEALERSHIP TOOK AND MY ORIGINAL TIRES. MY TIRES SPECIFICALLY STATES BRIDGESTONE AND DEALERSHIP BLURRED THE TIRE OUT AND PHOTOSHOPPED. I WAS PUT IN HARM'S WAY TWICE AND COULD HAVE LOST MY LIFE. SECOND TIME TIRE EXPLODED I WAS GOING 60 MPH ON HIGHWAY HAD 23,000 MILES ON VEHICLE.
