Vehicle Safety Complaint – 2026 Dodge Durango I am reporting a recurring safety issue involving the driver’s seat belt in my 2026 Dodge Durango. The seat belt repeatedly becomes stuck/locked in the retractor and will not pull out far enough for me to buckle it. This has occurred more than once and has prevented me from being able to properly secure myself before driving the vehicle. I have attempted to allow the seat belt to fully retract and then slowly pull it back out, but the problem continues to occur. I am very concerned because this is the driver’s primary safety restraint, and when the seat belt becomes stuck, I cannot safely operate the vehicle. This vehicle is a 2026 model and should not be experiencing a recurring failure of such a critical safety component. I am requesting that this complaint be documented and investigated as a potential seat-belt retractor or restraint-system defect. I would also like to know whether similar complaints have been reported for this vehicle and whether any recall, investigation, technical service bulletin, or other corrective action applies. Vehicle: 2026 Dodge Durango Component: Driver’s seat belt/retractor Problem: Seat belt locks/sticks and cannot be pulled out for use Frequency: Recurring Safety consequence: Driver is unable to properly buckle the seat belt and safely operate the vehicle.
