3 reportsTHE VEHICLE OFTEN STALLS AFTER FILLING UP WITH GAS WITHIN 1 TO 2 MILES AFTER DEPARTING GAS STATION (DANGEROUS IN TRAFFIC)! I HEARD THIS IS HAPPENING ON MANY OTHER CHRYSLER PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR 2006. HOWEVER IT IS ALSO HAPPENING ON MY 2007 TOWN & COUNTRY.
THIS IS A FREQUENTLY RECURRING ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE. EVER SINCE PURCHASE, THE VEHICLE WILL STALL OR ALMOST STALL FROM A STOP OR VERY LOW SPEED ACCELERATION WITHIN MINUTES OR LESS THAN FIVE MILES OF REFUELING. THIS IS A FREQUENTLY RECURRING ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE. EVER SINCE PURCHASE, THE VEHICLE WILL STALL OR ALMOST STALL FROM A STOP OR VERY LOW SPEED ACCELERATION WITHIN MINUTES OR LESS THAN FIVE MILES OF REFUELING. AFTER ABOUT 3 TO 5 SECONDS OF CRANKING, THE ENGINE WILL RESTART.. THIS CONDITION DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE AFFECTED BY WEATHER OR TEMPERATURE AT THE TIME OF INCIDENT. I TAKE CARE TO STOP THE REFUELING PROCESS IMMEDIATELY WHEN THE NOZZLE AT THE PUMP CLICKS SHUT. THE CONCERN IS THAT THIS STALLING OCCURS NORMALLY AT AN INTERSECTION AND I FEAR AT SOME POINT, THERE WILL BE A COLLISION. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED AND I HAVE ALL SERVICE RECORDS SINCE PURCHASED IN 2009. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 105,000. *TR
