WHILE DRIVING DOWN A BACK ROAD TOWARDS MY HOME ON DECEMBER 18, 2010, THE TRANSMISSION SUDDENLY SLIPPED INTO A LOWER GEAR, ALTHOUGH THE SHIFT WAS STILL IN DRIVE/OVERDRIVE. I COULD HEAR THE ENGINE STRAINING. MY CAR HAS "AUTOSTICK," SO I TRIED CHANGING GEARS WITH THAT. WHEN IN AUTOSTICK, 2ND GEAR WAS DISPLAYED ON MY DASHBOARD. …

I COULD HEAR THE ENGINE STRAINING. MY CAR HAS "AUTOSTICK," SO I TRIED CHANGING GEARS WITH THAT. WHEN IN AUTOSTICK, 2ND GEAR WAS DISPLAYED ON MY DASHBOARD. NOTHING I DID WOULD CHANGE THE GEAR. MY AUTOSTICK WOULDN'T WORK, SO I SHIFTED BACK INTO REGULAR DRIVE. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE IN 2ND GEAR, AND EVENTUALLY I FELT THE ENGINE EASE UP, AND IT SEEMED FINE AGAIN. I HAVE NOT TAKEN THE CAR IN TO BE INSPECTED, AS I FEEL THIS WILL BE A LARGE JOB CHECKING THE TRANSMISSION. AS NOTED IN A PREVIOUS COMPLAINT FILED TODAY, I'VE ALREADY HAD 2 HUGE BILLS TO REPAIR 2 FRONT END WHEELS FALLING OFF THE CAR... SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE KILLED MY CHILDREN WHO WERE DRIVING AT EACH SPECIFIC TIME. ALL ISSUES MENTIONED ARE SAFETY ISSUES THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD ADDRESS.
