THE FRONT CRANK SHAFT SEAL IS BAD. IT MAKES THE ENGINE MAKE A VERY LOUD CHIRPING NOISE WHEN IT WARMS UP. IF YOU PULL THE OIL DIPSTICK OUT IT STOPS. I'VE HAD TO KEEP MY DIPSTICK OUT SO THAT IT DOESN'T CHIRP. IT'S CAUSING OTHER ISSUES WITH CAR. LIKE STABILITY CONTROL, FUEL MILEAGE AND HAVING TO CHANGE OIL MORE OFTEN. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET IT FIXED BUT HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO. I'M AFRAID THAT IT IS DAMAGING THE ENGINE MORE THAN NECESSARY. FROM WHAT I'VE LEARNED CHEVY IS AWARE THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THE CRUZE. BUT NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED TO FIX THIS. SERVICE BULLETIN P11297B, 2-2015
