Low beams don't work when the engine gets hot, I was driving the other night at 10pm and the headlights went out. Pitch black and almost wrecked.......This is a know issue..... Fuel pump has small cracks in the top of driver side fuel pump could start fire, and its a know issue....... Heads on the LS7 also know valve issue. It will ruin the motor.....

The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated upon purchasing the vehicle and driving at 25 MPH, the headlights flickered on and off. The contact was able to continue to drive. The contact later received an unknown recall notification from the manufacturer regarding the headlight failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who completed the recall repair; however, the failure reoccurred several times while driving. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 1.
I took car to local Chevrolet dealer to have headlight flashing problem corrected. They gave me back the car saying it was fixed. Problem is still there and now they want regular shop rate to repair the recal problem. Problem is a broken wire in the fuse box in engine compartment. This causes the low beam headlights to flick…

I took car to local Chevrolet dealer to have headlight flashing problem corrected. They gave me back the car saying it was fixed. Problem is still there and now they want regular shop rate to repair the recal problem. Problem is a broken wire in the fuse box in engine compartment. This causes the low beam headlights to flicker on and off wfter engine compartment heats up. Car is unsafe to drive at night.
RECENTLY I WAS DRIVING HOME AND MY AUTOMATIC LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS DID NOT COME ON. TRIED TO TURN THEM ON MANUALLY, NOTHING. HAD ONE WORKING FOG LIGHT TO GET HOME. PEOPLE FLASHING ME TO TURN MY LIGHTS ON. VERY DANGEROUS.
LLOW BEAM LIGHTS COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING ON WAY HOME ON A BUSY HIGHWAY IN THE DARK. HIGH BEAMS WORK, PARKING LIGHTS WORK. AFTER COOL DOWN RELAY ALLOWS LOW BEAM TO COME BACK ON. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE.
I NOTICE A STRONG FUEL ODOR INSIDE THE CAR WHEN TANK IS FILLED.. ONCE I GET TO LIKE HALF A TANK IT GOES AWAY. ALSO THE HEADLIGHT LENS HAS TO BE POLISHED FREQUENTLY.THEY ARE CHEAP PLASTIC.
BRAKE LIGHTS REMAIN ON WHILE DRIVING THEN GO OFF WHEN BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED. HAPPENS STOPPED OR MOVING. HAVE HEARD A FAULTY BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) CAUSES THIS.
GOT OFF WORK AT 6PM WAS DRIVING HOME ON REGULAR ROADS, AND OUT OF NO WHERE MY LOW BEAMS WENT OUT AND WOULDN'T TURN ON AGAIN. CHECK ALL THE FUSES AND RELAYS AND THERE ALL GOOD.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT NOT WORKING. FUSE AND LAMP REPLACED. HEADLIGHT LOW BEAM STILL NOT FIXED. HEADLIGHT LOW BEAM WENT OUT WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT.
