THE TORQUE SENSOR IS SUBJECT TO NHTSA RECALL #21V213, BUT THE 'ANGLE SENSOR' IS APPARENTLY NOT SUBJECT TO ANY RECALL YET. TRUCK IS NOT DRIVEABLE WITHOUT BOTH BEING FIXED.

THERE HAS ALREADY BEEN A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE BUT THE DEALERSHIP (CARL BLACK, KENNESAW GA) SAYS THAT IT WAS CLOSED IN 2016 AND REFUSES TO FIX IT FOR FREE. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH YOU SEVERAL MONTHS AGO BECAUSE OF THIS AND RECENTLY RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM YOU THAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN RECALLED AGAIN. HOWEVER, THE DEALERSHIP CONTINUES TO REFUSE TO FIX IT FOR FREE. THE CONSUMER REFERENCED RECALL 21V213. THE CONSUMER STATED THE POWER STEERING CONTINUES TO GO OUT WHILE DRIVING.*JS

HAS OCCURRED TWICE. VEHICLE HAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHICH CAUSES EXTREME DIFFICULTY IN STEERING (70 YEARS OLD). DEALER INDICATED THAT GM IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE, BUT THEY HAVE NO CORRECTIONS. THE STEERING MAY COME BACK AFTER THE VEHICLE IS PARKED. SEVERAL DAYS AFTER THE FIRST INCIDENT, IT WENT OUT AGAIN WHILE I WAS MAKING A TURN. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. BOTH ISSUES OCCURRED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION.
