THE DRIVER'S SEAT FAILED FOR THE SECOND TIME. DEALERS REPLACED THE TRACK IN THE SEAT ONCE, THE PROBLEM REMAINS THE SAME. *AK
WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD WORK PROPERLY AND THEN THEY WOULD STOP. DRIVER HAS TO HIT WIPERS OR JERK AFTER PULLING OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO GET THEM TO WORK. DEALER CONTACTED ,AND STATED A POSSIBLE RECALL COMING OUT ON 12/98, BUT THIS VEHICLE DID NOT COMPLY. *AK
CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ON THE ROAD AT APPROXIMATE 35 MPH WHEN VEHICLE CAME TO A HEAD-ON COLLISION INTO A BANKS WITH FRONT BUMPER. AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. DEALER/MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED. *AK
DRIVER'S SEAT FRAME ATTACHES THE SEAT TO THE BODY, WHERE SEAT IS BOLTED TO THE FRAME OF THE SEAT. BOLT IS BROKEN, CAUSING THE SEAT TO ROCK BACK AND FORTH. DEALER CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK
WHEN APPLYING THE ABS BRAKES THE PEDAL TRAVELS TO THE FLOOR, CAUSING EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
THE SEAT RISER PART #12376289 FAILED. THIS FAILURE OF THE SEAT RISER CAUSED THE SEAT TO NOT STAY STILL WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. IT WILL NOT LOCK INTO PLACE.
VEHICLE DOES NOT SLOW DOWN WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED.

THE OFFICE OF DEFECTS INVESTIGATION HAS RECEIVED 375 REPORTS ALLEGING FAILURE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT FRAME WHICH IS PRONE TO BREAKAGE AT THE LEFT FRONT ATTACHING POINT.WHEN THIS OCCURS, THE SEAT MAY TILT AWAY FROM THE RISER DURING ACCELERATING OR BRAKING.(SEE CLOSING REPORT)
