THEREFORE, CREATING A VARIANCE IN STOPPING DISTANCE. *AK CONSUMER STATES ON FIRST OCCASION, BRAKES WORKED FINE AND THEN ALL THE SUDDEN PEDAL ALMOST WENT TO THE FLOOR, FRONT BRAKES KEPT CONSUMER FROM CAUSING ACCIDENT, DEALER STATED PROBLEM WAS WITH THE MASTER CYLINDER LEAKING, DEALER INSTALLED NEW MASTER CYLINDER, CONSUMER STATES NOW THE PEDAL FEELS VERY SOFT, THE REAR WHEEL CYLINDER HAS ALSO HAD TO BE REPLACED. O RING BLEW OUT. *SLC
QUARTER WINDOW ON EXTENDED CAB BLEW.
APPLIED THE BRAKES ON TOP OF A HILL TO OBEY THE STOP SIGN. THE BRAKES DID NOT RESPOND, AND THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THEN APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IMMEDIATLY AFTERWARDS. *AK

THE OFFICE OF DEFECTS INVESTIGATION HAS RECEIVED 375 REPORTS ALLEGING FAILURE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT FRAME WHICH IS PRONE TO BREAKAGE AT THE LEFT FRONT ATTACHING POINT.WHEN THIS OCCURS, THE SEAT MAY TILT AWAY FROM THE RISER DURING ACCELERATING OR BRAKING.(SEE CLOSING REPORT)
