AFTER RECALL REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED THE PLASTIC COMPONENT THAT HOLDS THE THE SEAT BELT SHOULDER STRAP TO COMMON BUCKLE WHICH THE WAIST STRAP ATTACHES TO, BROKE IN HALF. *AK
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WENT OUT TWICE.
WITH CAUSE UNKNOWN, VEHICLE WILL ACCELERATE WITH NO WARNING. *AK
DOOR MOUNTED SHOULDER/LAP BELTS FAILED TO HOLD DRIVER/PASSENGER IN PLACE DURING ACCIDENT, RESULTING IN INJURIES. *DH
BRAKES FAILED.
WHILE DRIVING AT APPROX. 5-10MPH SUDDENLY ENGIN ACCELERATED OUT OF CONTROL, HITTING A POLE, NO PRIOR WARNING, EXPERIENCED PRIOR THROTTLE FAILURE. *AK

THE FRONT SHOULDER BELT RETRACTORS MAY HAVE REDUCED SENSITIVITY OF THE LOCK-UP FEATURE AND WOULD NOT FUNCTION IN A SUDDEN DECELERATION OR CRASH.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: FAILURE OF THE SHOULDER BELT RETRACTOR WOULD RESULT INTHE SEAT OCCUPANT ONLY BEING RESTRAINED BY THE LAP BELT IN A CRASH OR SUDDENSTOP, AND AN INCREASED POSSIBILITY OF INJURY.
