THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 175,000.

UPON APPLICATION OF BRAKE PEDAL ABS BRAKE SYSTEM APPEARS TO BE ACTIVATING, CAUSING STEERING PROBLEMS. I CHECKED BRAKE PADS,ROTOR AND CALIPERS. NO FAILURE OR WEAR TO THESE ITEMS. PROBLEM CONTINUES TO WORSEN, WITH INTERMITTENT RAPID APPLICATION OF ABS WITH JUST A SLIGHT OR NORMAL APPLICATION OF BRAKE PEDAL. THE ABS SWITCH HAS GONE OUT CAUSING THE GEARS TO NOT SHIFT. THE VEHICLE IS STUCK IN PARK POSITION. DLR HAS REPLACED THE ABS SWITCH 3 TIMES BEFORE AND PROBLEM STILL EXIST. MJS
WHEN VEHICLE TURNED, THE SWITCH SENSOR WOULD COME ON, GO OFF, AND COME BACK ON AGAIN. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MECHANIC, FRONT BRAKES REPLACED & REAR ONES CHECKED. WHENEVER THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP AS QUICKLY AS IT SHOULD. *AK *ML

Consequence & remedy
Consequence: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: SEAT OCCUPANTS ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASED RISK OF INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A SUDD STOP OR ACCIDENT.
Remedy: SHERRY DESIGNS WILL PROVIDE AN ATTACHABLE HEADREST FOR THE DEALER OR CUSTOMER TO ADD TO THE SEATS.
