33 reportsI HAVE A 1994 CHEVY SILVERADO THAT HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE WIPERS STOPPING DURING RUNNING. THERE IS A RECALL BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT DID NOT QULIFY FOR THE RECALL. SEEING AS THIS PROBLEM IS CLEARLY ON THIS TRUCK IT SHOULD BE UNDER THE RECALL.
CIRCUIT BOARD IN THE WIPER MOTOR FAILED, WHICH CAUSED THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS TO WORK INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER STATED A RECALL WAS ISSUED ON THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED DUE TO VIN. *AK *SCC *JB

A DEALER RECALL WAS ISSUED, BUT THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED DUE TO THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER. *AK THE CONSUMER HAD TO STOP MANY TIMES DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER WAS UNABLE TO SEE. ON OCCASIONS THE WIPERS WORKED FINE ON FAST SPEEDS, BUT THEN STOPPED ON SLOW SPEEDS. SEVERAL TIMES THE CONSUMER HAD GONE OFF THE ROAD DUE TO POOR VISIBILITY. THE WIPERS HAVE BEEN REPLACED BUT THE PROBLEM HASN'T BEEN SOLVED. *SCC *JB
