WHEN APPLYING THE ABS BRAKES WITH EMERGENCY BRAKE STILL ENGAGED, THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND THE BRAKES FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. *AK

OWNER HAS ABS BRAKES, HE STATES THAT THERE IS A LOT OF KICK BACK COMING FROM BRAKES; HE ALSO NOTES THAT THERE IS A LOT OF NOISE COMING FROM BRAKES. *AK
DURING VEHICLE OPERATION AT 25 MPH, THE ABS BRAKES FAILED COMPLETELY AND EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE WAS EXPERIENCED, THE ABS WARNING LIGHT NEVER CAME ON , IT WAS CONFIRMED BY THE DEALER THAT THE ABS WAS INOPERATIVE. *AK *SLC

THE UPPER TRANSAXLE OIL COOLER HOSE CAN PULL OUT OF THE CRIMPED COUPLING AT THE TRANSAXLE END OF THE LINE ASSEMBLY.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: IN THE EVENT OF SEPARATION OF THE COUPLING, AN OIL LEAK CAN OCCUR WHICH, WHEN EXPOSED TO AN IGNITION SOURCE, COULD RESULT IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW UPPER TRANSAXLE OIL COOLER LINE TO THE TRANSAXLE.
