While driving along, multiple signs such as malfunction indicator light, brake light, ABS light, traction control, electronic stability control, Forward collision system failure etc lit up on the dashboard and I could no longer slow the vehicle down using the brake pedal. When I turned the vehicle back on, most lights were off but malfunction indicator light was stayed on. However, brake started working. I narrowly avoided hitting a car in front of me on the highway because I couldn't slow down the vehicle. I would have hit the vehicle in front of me if it had slowed down. It put my life along with of those around me on the freeway in danger and it could have turned out a lot worse. I am taking the vehicle to the dealership tomorrow morning. Prior to the brake fail, there were no warning lights, messages, or other symptoms of the problem. The warning lights only came on while I was driving and the brake was no longer working.
